One thing I’ve started to notice is how much more homesteading dads seem to help out with the kids vs dads that have to go into the office everyday. Justin Rhodes seems to be a very hands-on Dad too. What a great benefit to all of that hard work. I bet more dads wish they had that opportunity. :)

Thank you so much for your teaching. In August 2019 my daughter and son in law will take possession of likely 20 acres of beautiful farmland. She has two horses from rescue, six chickens (so far) and two Australian cattle dogs. She will, when she can, follow your channel. Curtis has his trucking business and has become the local mechanic when he is home and is paid in hay! What a life! The land drops from their house to a beautiful creek. A lot of work to do, but the homesteading (small farming) community is so caring for one another that it is a work of love. The way life was meant to be! Again, thank you so much.

I liked the music/videos toward the end also, and the beautiful video of the cows resting in the sunlight. I love to see a cow resting in the sun, it means they have a full stomach (for a little while!) and are loving the suns warmth after the cold night. Well done. Sorry to hear you have so much work to do.

Beautifully filmed, Simeon! The thumbnail showed what appeared to be new goslings so I wasn't at all expecting to see a new calf tucked into the little protective barrier its mom picked out for it. What fantastic footage. The amount of shooting prior to coming across the calf was enough to draw you in and seeing the little guy was totally a surprise. Plus, it's just beautiful getting to watch the spring unfold there in Sweden. I had to stop it at 04:09 and post this, but I'll probably be back after I watch the rest. So beautiful!
Priceless! You tell Danny that you're talking to the people and he looks straight ahead and sees... a piece of electronic equipment, your camera. Your kids are smart and I'm sure he probably already gets how it all works, but it just struck me funny when you pointed at "us" and he certainly couldn't see any people.

How long has Danny liked the tractor? Will he be like my son, who at the tender age of 20 months, decided to move the tractor on his own at the crack of sunrise, because he just couldn't wait for Dad! We had to resolve the dilemma by disconnecting the battery cable from the post. Hope yours isn't as impatient as mine was. By the way, my son just got his driving license in the last six months. He is a great driver, still.
