So there was some concessions in terms of their sins for the people living before qoran was revealed??? Because not all the truth/sins has been revealed yet then.
Sins about that time was clearly mentioned in scriptures, If someone does that sin he will be punished, And same as if someone was not a true believer of god, He or She will be put in hell.

According to Quran Chapter 5 32 says "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors."
and Chapter 9 29 says "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled"

SUNETH SAPARAMADU you have to understand that quran was revealed to Muhammad saw over time and some for a specific thing that was happening at the time it was revealed. As you stated, the second chapter was revealed to Muhammad saw at the time he was living when the non believers signed a contract with him to live in peace and to not harm him and his companions and to not force him against his religion. These group of nonbelievers overtime broke their promise many time by lying and killing and persecuting the prophets companions one by one. Allah told the prophet not to fight them and to let them be and to keep peace but it got worse over time since the nonbelievers who were suppose to have been an alliance with the prophet broke their alliance and conspired with the enemy of the prophet to kill Muslims when the war came. At that time, allah revealed those verse to give permission to the prophet to kill them and to defend his people and himself. And please keep reading the verses after that which will say to protect the people who did were not conspiring against you and your people and to take them to safety. Allah also said in the next verse that if they surrender to not kill them but to let them go.
