Hollywood Banker is a good documentary to see about Franz Afman, Cannon's Banker , during the 1980's. He basically financed all the indie film companies during the 80's video store craze. A poster,some talent commitments, some commitments from some foreign distributors, and voila !, Afman would give you the bridge financing to make your movie.
I love One Dark Night! I remember seeing it with my mom and it was a double feature with The Outsiders! I was so upset when I missed out on it the last time on blu-ray and who knows if I'll be able to get it this time but hopefully it's out longer this time around. It's not the greatest but it means something special to me and it was one of the rare times I got out due to my handicap. Movies hold some great memories. Take Care and Stay Safe.
Love DRIVE. Had it on VHS. Great, underrated 1990s action flick. And Brittany Murphy is amazing as "Deliverance Bodine". Plus, although the movie may not have been a hit, you can tell it had a huge impact on Murphy's career. She booked five movies the following year.

I've picked up all the ones already released you showed here and have pre-orderd The Dark. I already have the previous 2017 Code Red One Dark Night so I'm guessing this MVD version is exactly the same given what you've said on the vid. Still this edition looks really nice and they aren't that expensive so tempted to double dip regardless! I really love what MVD have been doing and have picked up a number of their releases in recent times. Great to give them yet another spotlight in this vid (I know you've covered them before) as it feels they are one of the more underrated boutique labels.
As far as I can tell, One Dark Night is exactly the same as the Code Red release. Same transfer, same extras, just new authoring. There may one one or two things that are different, and obviously the MVD version comes with a poster, but there certainly doesn't seem to be anything missing from the MVD version, which is so nice. The music at the end is something I whipped up in Garageband. I try to create most of the music in my videos so that I don't have to worry about copyright strikes or an artist trying to the ad revenue from my videos. It happened once and I don't ever want it to happen again! :)

The Go Go Boys is great. I bought the French Import years ago because I am a HUGE Cannon fan.
I'm curious, did the French version have English subtitles?

Drive is awesome. A brilliant action film that not nearly enough people have seen. Hopefully this release will help with that.
