Oh Heartbreaker MV 😂 It was the first kpop 'related video' I ever clicked on after discovering 2NE1 and even back in 2010 I remember cringing so hard 🤣. Didn't stop me from downloading it and listening on repeat tho 😂😂 GDs MVs are always so creative and fun! He really is One of a Kind in the industry. It's thanks to Bigbang that YG was able to become the monolith that it did and a fair amount of Bigbang's success rides on GDs shoulders. Its hard to believe now but K-hiphop and K-pop were two completely different scenes in Korea until Bigbang said 'no, you can be a respected rapper & hiphop artist AND a kpop idol' As much as I love his badass rap stuff I love GDs voice more when he sings slow sad songs and that's why I love That XX so much

GDragon is Art in human form . He could have signed with any label but instead he has taken a risk and joined a start-up intelectual propiety , AI , metaverse company . But Flo Rida stated that it wasn't a copy of his song and Flo Rida even collabed with GD to make a remix for heartbreaker. That was the first time ever a western artist collab with a kpop artist

There are other artists like iKON, WINNER, EPIK HIGH, and so on. I've watched a lot of REACTION videos, and some them who are balancing airplay and quality choose to watch the MV once and also watch the lyrics video with bilingual subtitles, which can be a wonderful clash of different viewpoints, and it's a way to greatly enhance the watchability of the video. Hopefully this will help your long term benefits.
