Porting and polishing is for making the engine create more power!

    Hi! I've got a TL52 (TL43) engine.
I haven't ported a piston ported engine before so I don't know what duration works best.
    Do you have any advice?
Or where I can read about it?
I haven't checked the stock durations yet but will do that.
    Thanks.
    Sincerely Johannes

Are this realy work?? I think its maybe work but not good in low rpm cos the gass will flow to exzos port before piston make compression..large comsumtion fuel use n waste..sory if i wrong..

    What bit did you use?

It's a 1/2"x1" cylindrical carbide bit. You can find them ebay/Amizon for under $10

    What does that do?

Increases port time area. Which gives the cylinder a little more room to pull in more fuel and air. A little more fuel to combust = a little more performance gain.

Ok but you did not explain why this was done?

It's mainly to give 2-stroke porters the idea of what can be possible with the right tools. A lot of RC 1/5th scaler's like to trim down the transfer bridges quite a bit and often times I notice how horribly hacked up, uneven their ported cylinders are. So...To answer your question, raising the transfer bridge can give you a little more peak RPM. There's an RC engine called: Tiger King S27 which has their transfer bridges all the way up at the BDC line. Anyway hope this helpful.

Yes, this type of mod is done a lot on RC marine engines.
