If you believe God Almighty is one and not a human being, if you believe in all the prophets of God, including prophet Muhammad ﷺ, if you believe in all the scriptures sent by God Almighty, the Quran being the last one, if you believe in the angels and in the day of judgement and the decree of God, then you are a Muslim.
And don't let Satan win by delaying the acceptance of truth. You don't need to become a scholar to accept Islam, and after becoming Muslim, you are still obligated to seek knowledge, learn, and keep asking questions.

e.g. a Muslim man is allowed to marry a jew or christian woman, but according to the video's logic, since she's a disbeliever she would need to be hated - makes no sense, because Allah would not allow you to marry a person you're supposed to be hating. Hence logically we should only be hating those disbelievers who fight us.
"Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." (Quran 60:8)

In Islamic terminology, "bughd" is often used in the context of "loving for the sake of Allah and disliking for the sake of Allah" (al-hubb fillah wal-bughd fillah). This concept doesn't necessarily imply active hatred, but rather a disapproval of certain actions or beliefs that contradict Islamic teachings.
In discussions about attitudes towards disbelievers or sinful actions, the term used is typically "bughd" rather than "karahiya". This distinction is significant because "bughd" allows for a more nuanced understanding - one can disapprove of or dislike certain beliefs or actions without harboring intense personal hatred towards individuals. So my assumption is correct that we should hate someone's disbelief but not them personally unless they actively fight us verbally or physically, but this video makes us look really bad and is a goldmine for islamophobes.

Despite their knowledge, they choose not to follow Jesus's example even if they know of how Jesus prayed. They believe that Jesus adhered to dietary laws, yet they disregard these practices because they interpret that Jesus (Paul) abolished them. They are aware that Jesus instructed women to cover their heads as Mary did, but they do not observe this command. Similarly, they recognize that Jesus was circumcised, but claim that circumcision is now a matter of the heart, thereby excusing themselves from the physical practice.
There are numerous directives that Jesus gave to his disciples, which modern-day Christians do not follow. This is why I assert that Christianity is not the religion of Jesus but the religion of Paul, who nullified many of the Jewish laws and practices that Jesus himself followed and never renounced. Consequently, in their own Bible, Jesus himself will denounce these people on Judgment Day:
"On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws." (Matthew 7:22-23).

Brother may Allah make it easy for you and all of us because I assure you that you are not alone in all the things you mentioned. Every human is a sinner and the best of the sinner are the those who repent. In your case, i would begin with not letting go of the obligatory prayer because that is one of the major rights Allah has on you. I assure you everything will go smoothly from there( ie eventually repenting) because Allah himself states that "Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allāh is greater. And Allāh knows that which you do." 29:45 Quran.
Finally have hope in Allah and dua(supplication) is your best weapon.
As for the doubt, that is from shaytan* who is our clear enemy*. I would recommend increasing your knowledge about Allah and your religion. Knowledge is power and it dispels uncertainty.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. Please don't give up and don't abandon Salah. Salah is not a burden. It is your personal, one to one meeting with your Rabb who created you, feeds you and shelters you. Try to focus on the blessings in your life that Allah SWT gives you everyday. When you realise how much Allah SWT has given you (don't ignore the obvious, including being born healthy with a fully functional body and having good food to eat everyday) you will feel comfort, gratitude and peace during Salah. Also try to substitute the music for Quran recitations. Music takes you away from Allah by inciting all sorts of animalistic emotions and desires and making you forget your Rabb. May Allah SWT bring you back to the straight path of Islam and make you taste the sweetness of Salah everyday for the rest of your life, and bless you with good Muslim companions. Ameen 🤲

Exactly a Muslim man is allowed to marry a jew or christian woman, but according to the video's logic, since she's a disbeliever she would need to be hated - makes no sense, because Allah would not allow you to marry a person you're supposed to be hating. Hence logically we should only be hating those disbelievers who fight us.

You hated his act, but afterwards you forgive him and you rather don’t wanna disassociate yourself from him. Now imagine him betraying you, your family, in the most horrible way you could imagine, you would maybe forgive him, your hate will stay inside you and you disassociate yourself from him.
There is no friend that harmed you, nor insulted you. But they insulted your Rabb, the one who created you and brought you up, in the most disgusting way possible! The logical inconsistency and potential psychological harm in such interpretations as in this video, let's analyze this issue:
      1. Logical inconsistency:
The idea of hating someone while simultaneously treating them with kindness and justice is indeed logically inconsistent. It creates a cognitive dissonance that is difficult, if not impossible, to reconcile in practice.
      2. Prophetic example:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified sincere kindness and compassion, even towards those who opposed him. There's no evidence that he harbored hatred for individuals while outwardly treating them well.
"And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." (Quran 21:107)
      3. Islamic ethics:
Islam emphasizes sincerity and avoiding hypocrisy. The Quran states:
"O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do? Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do." (Quran 61:2-3)
This verse criticizes saying one thing while doing another, which is precisely what the "hate internally, be kind externally" approach suggests.
      4. Psychological impact:
Attempting to maintain hatred while outwardly showing kindness can lead to severe psychological stress and moral injury. It's an unsustainable state that can harm one's own spiritual and mental well-being.
      5. Da'wah (inviting to Islam):
Such an approach would be detrimental to da'wah efforts. Non-Muslims would likely sense the insincerity, potentially driving them away from Islam rather than attracting them to it.
      6. Misunderstanding of Al-Wala' wal-Bara':
This concept is about loving good deeds and disliking evil actions, not about hating individuals. The Quran states:
"And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness." (Quran 5:8)
This verse clearly separates feelings of antipathy from the obligation of just treatment, indicating that Muslims should strive to overcome negative feelings rather than cultivating them.
      7. Scholarly opinions:
Many respected scholars have emphasized that Al-Wala' wal-Bara' does not mean hating non-Muslims as individuals. For instance, Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah has stated that this concept relates to actions and beliefs, not to individuals themselves.
      8. Historical context:
The early Muslim community in Medina, under the Prophet's leadership, established positive relations with non-Muslims. The Constitution of Medina is a prime example of respectful coexistence, which would be impossible if Muslims were required to hate non-Muslims internally.
      Conclusion:
The attempt to justify hating non-Muslims while treating them well externally is indeed a form of mental gymnastics that contradicts the holistic teachings of Islam. It misinterprets religious concepts, goes against the Prophetic example, and can lead to psychological harm and ineffective da'wah.
Instead, Islam encourages a genuine approach of kindness, justice, and wisdom in dealing with all people, while maintaining one's religious principles. This approach is more in line with the Quranic injunction:
"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best." (Quran 16:125)
This verse emphasizes wisdom and best conduct, which are incompatible with internal hatred.
May Allah guide us all to the correct understanding and implementation of His religion. Allah knows best.

Bro, are you high on weed?
Hating disbelief is fine ,but hating the disbeliever as well is not in Islam.
It says in the Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 23, Number 399:
Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila:
Sahl bin Hunaif and Qais bin Sad were sitting in the city of Al-Qadisiya. A funeral procession passed in front of them and they stood up. They were told that funeral procession was of one of the inhabitants of the land i.e. of a non-believer, under the protection of Muslims. They said, "A funeral procession passed in front of the Prophet and he stood up. When he was told that it was the coffin of a Jew, he said, "Is it not a living being (soul)?"
Please try to understand that everyone before Prophet Muhammad began preaching Islam was a disbeliever (that includes all the companions like Hazrat Abu Bakr and Umar). If Islam tells us to hate the disbelievers then tell me how did Prophet Muhammad convert all these people if not by showing them love and compassion.

    Assalamu alaikum,
I came across your statement about Muslims needing to hate non-Muslims out of loyalty to Allah. I'd like to offer some clarity on this matter as it's a common misunderstanding of Islamic teachings.
It's important to understand that the Qur'anic verses related to non-Muslims have often been misinterpreted. For instance, Allah Most High says, “The believers should not make the disbelievers their [supporting] allies rather than other believers- anyone who does such a thing will isolate himself completely from God- except when you need to protect yourselves from them” [3:28]. Another verse states, “You who believe, do not take the Jews and Christians as [supporting] allies: they are [supporting] allies only to each other. Anyone who takes them as an ally becomes one of them- God does not guide such wrongdoers” [5:51].
These verses are not prohibiting friendships or kind interactions with non-Muslims. Rather, they warn against forming alliances that could harm the Muslim community. Renowned scholars like Tabari have clarified that these verses specifically refer to alliances that support harm against Muslims.
Allah Most High also says, “and He does not forbid you to deal kindly and justly with anyone who has not fought you for your faith or driven you out of your homes: God loves the just” [60:8]. This emphasizes that kindness and justice are fundamental in our dealings with everyone, including non-Muslims.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified this. He maintained good relations with non-Muslims, treated them with respect, and encouraged kindness. A well-known example is when Asma’ bint Abi Bakr's mother, who was still an idolater, came to visit her. The Prophet (peace be upon him) advised Asma’ to maintain ties with her mother and treat her kindly. He also invited jews and christians to his weddings and they were well treated as guests.
In conclusion, as Muslims, we should embody noble character and sincerity in all our interactions, including with non-Muslims. Hatred is directed towards disbelief and sin, not towards individuals. It's crucial to differentiate between disliking disbelief and being unjust or unkind to people who hold different beliefs.
May Allah guide us all to the straight path and bless us with understanding and compassion.
