Inspite of owning a nexon petrol, i decided to go for Windsor and its been 800km on odometer so far and extremely happy with the choice with around 275km range. I remember cancelling Nexon 45 booking as i was already fed up of lot of small niggles with my petrol Nexon. Basically wanted a no headache car and cant be more happier with Windsor EV.
275km is with full time AC and city use. I did take it on expressway and it was almost the same around 260km at avg speed of 85kmph. It's a very cool car trust me. Just like a regular no nonsense maruti car but with safety and features. You just need to habituate yourself to charge a car like your mobile. That's it.
Hi, have 2 questions. 1 is, did you get both, the 3.3 and 7.2 kw chargers with the car? 2. I'd seen a normal Nexon review wherein the seatbase could be removed during the 60:40 split. Can that be done on the ev too? I mean the part of the rear seat on which you sit. Thanks
Hi I have the exact same car and my boot door also has the same issue, it needs force to close it. Also, I have the same driver window one touch issue. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. My first service is coming soon thanks for the video.
200 KMs and already experienced three major problems: the front bumper is pressed inside too much on the left, indicator sound sometimes changes speed and blinks as fast as older tata cars and the MID had a whole "breakdown" where the sprites (which are basically images or bitmaps that contain all of all the needed icons and elements together in one image for easy access) were visible in random places (if you get what i mean). Nexon EV Red Dark FYI another problem that has plagued tata cars is the terrible indicator sound, as in the delay between the sounds is random. sometimes its too much, sometimes its too little. but the indicator icon an indicators themselves dont have such problem. i fixed it in 2 minutes in davinci resolve by recording the indicator sound.
I went for Nexon because I dont understand the battery subscription model even though I pay for the car, I dont own a part of it. Also, Windsor looks so ugly. Havent faced any issues with my nexon but we really need more choices in EVs
@EVolution-Nick Its new then ,meri gaadi mein 1 baar aaya tha ,a day after i connected to dc charger. And the battery pack has a pu coating which is quite strong, so no need to worry about damaging it , same thing happened to me aswell, the scraping. The ground clearance is lower than normal nexon soit touches at places like parking and high speedbreakers .

Charger issue I faced too.. then car went to service centre n they changed something... Its due to some fault in tata Nexon which they solve if any such car face it... Solve this before warenty expire

Nikhil, I have a nexon petrol manual 2024 I also found the same issue what you have sowen in your video, issues like Auto up/down driver seat windows it's a generic problem with tata most user reported, boot door latch issue is with my nexon too, infotainment after software update it have improved but still has Minor issues. also once I found the sudden the lag in pickup compare to Earler but any how it got settled itself.
Very important video, rightly said nikhil. After spending so much in a top variant of a vehicle this niggles should not be there But I still stand on my choice of Nexon ev 45. Why? Because its the most practical compact value for money car on its segment. I am froma 2nd tier City and mg is not present here,so I am happy to get tata service centre near me. Also I don't want a big car with less range than ev 45 like Windsor ev. I don't need to get curvv ev because its size also huge that is impractical in my city with Toto and auto clashes.
Use a Silicone Lubricant on the Front Driver side Window. The one touch up/down has the same issue on my Nexon DCA as well. It's caused due to Dirt & Grime. Try it. It will solve it.
Range is dependent on way you drive . For an example im talking about Swift dzire amt Diesel . We had dizire at home . That car used to return my brother an average of 18-20 KMPL on Mix driving while the same car gives me 25-27 KMPL on mixed usage . Thats 25% diffrence. So it all depends how you accelerate. How fast you drive .
Dont understand why the hell Tata management is so laidback. Im sure they are aware of the issues like poor after sales service, issues with new cars, software glitches and quality control. Why cant they fix them or atleast there is some amount of improvement over the period of time

I have been a loyal tata user with 3 cars being purchased till date and have all of them ( TIAGO 2017, ALTROZ DCA bs6ph2, TIGOR EV) My father had Renault scala Diesel and We sold it and my father kept tiago. Point is service centers are really hopeless especially in small cities and in big cities they are over crowded. They keep ignoring minor issues that we highlight during servicing and we should live with it. I didn't had any option to buy other cars than tata bcos of Saftey.
You might face auxiliary battery issue soon. Limited performance mode on is indication of low power of auxiliary battery. This is due to infotainment system working for 1hr
I bought Tata Curvv ev 45. And have clocked 2000 km in 30 days and have faced no issues. Range 360 km on AC and 400 without AC on Eco mode. Fit and finish is definitely not upto the mark.

HV critical error is the scariest thing you can face in nexon ev .. we understand bugs can come due to faulty dc chargers but tata please provide rsa mechanic support for specially ev’s Right now they provide rsa support and they will take vehicle to nearest service station and you have to wait for 1 whole day or maybe 2 in another city
As i understand when any company is providing some feature against the money, then that feature should be flawless, nicely aligned. But as i understand that nexon or any car from tata is already overhyped.
@ I’m experiencing the same issue with my Brezza. When we try to close the boot, the air pressure inside the cabin increases, making it difficult for the boot to close properly. Lowering a window helps resolve the issue.
It’s definitely a tough choice.. but nothing compared to the ride quality of a Nexon Ev.. this is just my opinion.. I will never ever go back to ice car ever again.. plug-in hybrid maybe.. but never ice

Have had nexon petrol amt 2018..it's always had lot of niggles..I don't have time or patience to log them and report..I have stopped giving it to tata service as I see they are always overbooked and I don't see them doing much beyond a wash quick check and oil change ..also I get mileage of 8 and upto 9.5 even on highway it doesn't cross 10.5

My friend owns TATA Nexon EV LR, he is having issues with changing already. He bought a secondary petrol car. He wanted to buy Harrier from his heart, but his mind did not support his heart. He bought XUV700 finally.
Tata knows all the issues but dont solve it or maybe their mechanics chages the batteries in service centres.. my car give only 3-4 km range once it reach 20% ... Their post sales service is extremely poor.. they dont give response.. tata motors earned so much money by selling cheap cars at extra high cost.. indian government should allow cars like byd or tesla to sell car in india at normal tax than protecting indian car companies who sell cheap cars n cheat customers. this will give them competition to improve...i am suffering with nexon ev... M sure now with such poor cars, sales of tata will go down...

Based on operational cost comparisons alone, Honda City's superior reliability relative to Tata Mahindra EVs makes it the preferable choice.
I think range issue is depending on our driving style and ev vehicle don't drive like petrol and diesel vehicle

Took windsor and finished 2000km . Happy with the car without a single problem with 270 to 290 km range droven inbetween 80- 100km/hr

Driver window if it gets stuck give it a 5 sec gap before pressing the button again. It's to stop the motor from overloading

Boot closing issue is may be because of air .. open a door and close the boot, it will close easily
