Hi, I purchased the MR TR50 in March. Ran about 50 rounds through it. Used the pellgunoil like you showed in your video. Now CO2 is leaking every time. I reached out to MR and they stated not to use the petroleum based pellgunoil, but a "silicon" based oil. They said petroleum based deteriorates the O ring. I guess I need a new O ring now. That sucks. I'm not a big gun guy and that would be a big deal for me to fix. Thought you and your viewers should know.
It's a good launcher and it can fire an assortment of ammo, but the torpedoes seem to be kind of a novelty. They do carry more pepperball powder than the round ammo, so I guess thats a good advantage, but their also more expensive. I do wish it had an indicator and many people who have reviewed the launcher said the same thing and hopefully the company listens and adds it to a later model. Have you checked out the LTL Bravo yet? It seems like a pretty good launcher as well and boasts a 500fps and 18+ Joules out of the box. From what I've seen, it's closer to 22-23 Joules out of the box for the first 3-4 shots. What seems to be a good selling point is that it has weigh to it because it has more metal parts in it for reliability.
I do like this one. Also agreed on the indicator. It needs one. I guess we just have to twist to see if anything vents. The torpedo ammo is pricey as well. It's seems like these revolvers can't be shot rapidly because it seems that a half pull is turning mag and second click is fire, I hear the umarex revolver does it all in one click, Idk, just wondering, I haven't tried mine with CO2 yet just pulling trigger while it's empty and notice 2 clicks.
Nice little 🔫. Opens the doors for all sorts of new projectiles. The non indicator pin is a blessing and a curse. Its noice to have confirmation its gassed but its also another leak point.
