This is so crucial for Afrikan people to know this information. We were colonized by religion, the formation of these churches was just to establish this formally. People don't even think religion is a big deal but the colonizers fought wars and killed each other for years on end to ensure that we worship their gods and don't escape the clutches of colonialism.
You have a very narrow and closed opinion about religion. Open your mind to knowing the history of why and how the churches were formed. I am not denying colonialism. All I am saying is that, just look into the spiritual side of it.
Religion in itself is not a problem but it is being weaponised by some because people don't know how to interpret it So I think instead of teaching people to disgard religion more effort should be put Into studying it's complex history and it's esoteric meaning.
@@katlegoloveslifei think he means getting to him to protect churches so people don't look into it as brought by colonialism. Some people are just prepared to protect their religion, church, spurituality and for some its business.

The branch in Zimbabwe realized the church was making money then he stopped bringing money/contributions to ZCC South Africa, then the ZCC linkage with the one in South Africa was discontinued.
This explains why you had thousands and thousands of Afrikan people who fought on either side of the war, they were fighting to be colonized. This is why I insist that the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are the reason why Afrika fell from ruling the world to become enslaved subjects. We deserted our ways and the God of our ancestors to become enslaved to different religious cults and this hasn't changed to this day. We're still divided by these evil religions and their cultic subdivisions. How do we rise up as a people when we willingly choose the gods of our enemies over our liberation 😢
unfortunately there no rising up in religion. Biggest problem with afticans is they try to use western system of oppression to achieve freedom which is politics religion and law, and that will never happen. The solution lies with dismantling all the colonial structures and replace them with indigenous knowledge systems.

The African churches, such as the Zion Christian Church, Methodist Church, and Anglican Church, demonstrated a profound understanding of the significance of symbols and colors, as seen in military uniforms like those of the Salvation Army. Although influenced by colonial practices, these churches found a way to nurture African spiritual voices within the framework of newly established African institutions. They operated discreetly under colonial rule, offering a response to laws that prohibited African people from practicing their traditional spirituality, which had been unjustly labeled as witchcraft. In this context, we must honor both God and our ancestors for preserving African spirituality within the confines of colonized Christianity in Southern Africa. During a time when African knowledge systems were under severe attack, these churches provided a means for African beliefs and faith to endure. The founders of these churches were spiritually called to a mission far greater than the criticism they face today. By integrating African spirituality into Christian practices, they ensured its survival long enough to enable its eventual revival. For this, they deserve recognition, not condemnation, for safeguarding African spirituality under the guise of Christian faith during a challenging era.🇿🇦🙏🌷🌷🌷☯️
