@Jager1988 The Vortice offers the ability to customize the fit to a higher degree than the ST. Beyond that they are pretty much the same with the exception of the closure system used.
STG delivered my ST's this week. Still fighting off the urge to wear them in the house. I bought them from STG because they go to the effort to make these vids show the products in detail...cheers:)
got the sidi b-2's... great boot company. The shifting feel is phenomenal. Had 2 crashes in it. No damage to the skin/ankle & minimal to the boot. I always think the street is worse for crashes compared to the track. On the track you can slide forever. On the street you hit a car, guard rail, tree, etc usually within 100ft (pretty quick even at only 30mph). Ride safe guys. :-D
Sidi ST is good looking fits well unless you have quite thin calves or very wide feet. It has lots of replaceable protection pieces so you can continue using the boots after crashing. The negative side is that some of the hard plastic protection parts rubs against the motorcycle with lots of wear. If you have large feet and a Daytona 675 you will get wear on your swing arms.
@Sportbiketrackgear I dont do any track riding although id like to. I commute to school and ride up in the twistees. I like the way the sidi looks, but that not everything. I guess I just want the most protection.
Really? I consider my calfs pretty skinny (16in) and they tighten up more than my alpinestars smx plus boots. With my alpinestars boots, if I'm not wearing a suit, I'm left with a fair amount of space around the calfs. When I wore the ST, I still had a fair amount of adjustment left and they were completely tight against my calfs.
Anyone care to talk about the water-resistance of the air model? It rains a bit here but it is also hot so I want the air but also want to stay dry.. Anyone care to share experiences?
Thank you very much for your business and the kind words. Enjoy the boots, they are awesome.

Thank you for the feedback Christian, the rubbing part is true on different brand boots as well all depending on where your foot sits, etc. ~Aubrey

I bought these white ones 3 years ago, 1 crash and still look decent no damage lol my favorite brand boot besides TCX
TCX makes an excellent pair of boots. - Van
@jcotteri That combination of features will be hard to find in a pair of race boots.

Yes I would absolutely race in this boot.
@Brandon16044 This is a great boot, tons of protection. I would go for the ST's, you will not be disappointed.
I really like this boot, I use the Vertigo Mega at the moment. I hope that they might release this in a "Mega" version one day soonish.
@Brandon16044 What type of riding are you looking to do and what features are you most interested in? End of the day they are both awesome boots.
@Sportbiketrackgear Thanks. Guess I should go for the normal rather than the air as I will end up riding in them in the rain.
great channel u got going... always in depth, informative reviews ☝

Great boot, just picked myself up a pair.
the vortice is a better boots but the only difference i see is the closure system... brian would you use this boots on a race day?
No these are not offered in a waterproof version.
Sidi ST vs Gaerne GP-1? I do an equal amount of race track riding and normal road riding with some off bike time spent walking around in the boots.
Great review :)
Can I wear these boots in rain ? I understand my feet will get wet but will water damage the boots ?
As long as you make sure to clean and condition them well after, you should be alright :) Thanks for watching!
Would you recomend this over the smx plus?
Does ST boot have replaceable soles?
