This film has impressed me the most-so far; I still have a few more to watch. The constant danger gives the film a bit of an edge. Beyond that, the scenery itself is amazing. Thanks.
The snowy landscape is really beautiful. Tnanks Erik. Camping in the Shelter over there. My imagination is unfolding before my eyes. 눈 내려 생겨진 풍경이 정말 아름답네요. 그곳 쉘터에서 캠핑이라니... 상상이 제 눈앞에 지금 펼쳐지고 있습니다. 고마워요~에릭.
Erik, thank you for taking us on another epic experience! Love the solitude and silence. Amazing how being in nature heightens our senses that we otherwise take for granted. Keep up the great work!
My heart was in my mouth! Of course I have NO idea of thin or safe ice. Ice sculptures on this waterway were amusing. The wind blown ice reminds me blistering sand, blowing painfully against one's bare legs on the Gold Coast on a hot windy day. Phew!!! Amazing walk for us Eric. Thank you. ⛱🌺 Queensland. Australia
Hello Erik I have followed you and your imaginatively beautiful stories and visual arts for a long time. Even this video is absolutely wonderful. It is completely natural and without commercialism and alcohol which I like sharply. Best regards Janne
Beautiful winter views! Amazing video again from you Erik! Thanks a lot! May your Muddus trip be fulfilling and rich of beautiful experiences in the silence of the untouched and pristine Lapland forest!
One of the great joys in life, is breaking trail on icy crusted snow, in the early morning. The skis slide effortlessly across the snow, taking half your weight before forcing the crust to snap as your ski drops abruptly into soft cristalin powder. The cold bites into your skin, as the wind swirls snow crystals around your face and branches snap and crack with the wind, so cold you can almost feel their pain in your elbows.
A gripping odyssey first through pine groves under a thick snowpack, then reaching the frozen shores of the Gulf of Bothnia. Wonderful sensations that you are giving us Erik. :)
Erik님 안녕하세요! I felt as if I had worked hard to ski, could not fall asleep easily on a cold night, and stood alonein the snowy desert. It was great to be able to travel on video.Thank you. May God bless to you.
I prefer the crossed (X'd) pulk wand like your because he permit easier turning. I suggest a rubber O ring where the wands cross. Winter camping is the BEST camping. But sadly climate change is shortening our winters and also warming them. Enjoy them while we can.
Brilliant video - What is wrong with human beings where they are given 20 minutes of wonderful viewing of nature then can't give the effort of a thumbs up! We live in a 'take take' society.
Congrats for the quality of your videos, the sound is perfect and you really get unique shots. Keep up the good work and we hope to see more morning coffees (holy moments!)
Never understand the view counts that often do not represent thumbs ups, or.... And if people have time to view maybe also considering sharing with other channels with similar viewer interests as I did back at 300 - Such a remarkable talent, artistry and effort routinely put forth in often extreme temps and conditions in a uniquely stunning part of the world And many have not and would not be exposed to this landscape otherwise-
Hey ! Says the Canadian very nice traveling , the still shot of the Gulf of Boothia, grandioso.and really love the map references great idea. The cloud pixelation , The morning shot just after the holy moment with no thumbs up looks like you in front of a frozen desert, whit the wind look like minus 30 c, very good
God he makes me nervous skiing over black ice like that. Gives me PTSD over a high shcool buddy of mine that fell through the ice and well? It ended badly.
Mark...........mark..........heeeeeeiiiiiiiiiii............wait me............here so cold ..............i......i........i.......can move so cold mark........mark.........stop a minute let's made coffe to hot our body mark.......looked this water become snow so wondwerfull for me snow one magig God give us to remember God always remember we how great all his creat👍
Hi Erik i´m from Argentina, i saw a lot of your videos, i want to know about the way that you make a cofee, you don´t use any filter ? just putu the cofee in the teapot and then put it in your cup? Waht do you do with de garbage of cofee later? Your videos are great !! When do you come for treak in the Andes or Patagonia.? Have a nice day.
That's right, I make "cowboy" coffee. Coarse grind coffee settles to the bottom after a few minutes after boil, then you drink it. Patagonia would be great! :) A nice day to you too
Wonderful videos--thank you for uploading them. I hope you make many more. I was wondering about those green gaiters/booties you wear. They look like they would solve a problem I've always encountered when wearing down booties in deep snow. Who makes them and what are they called?
Here are half-a-doz Qs for you: 1. What kind of life did you lead before you embarked on these ''voyages''? 2. How do you decide WHERE to go? 3. Have you ever got a real FRIGHT during any such expeditions? What was it? 4. When is your birthday? 5. Do you have any very SPECIAL, BEAUTIFUL memory of any of your journey? What is it? 6. Where do you live ? Thank you & good wishes....
Baby its cold outside I am freezing just watching ....Do hope that you slept well ..How kilometres did you walk all-in-all? and how would you handle an emergency situation?
Hey Erik. I enjoy your videos alot. They are like the slow-TV concept we have here in Norway. I have a question. The drag you have on the pulk, does the plastic tubes work in real cold weather also.?
Fantastic, this has given me the urge to get a trip like this planned and enjoy what winter has to offer in Sweden.
Such a beautiful video. Thanks for taking me to a place I could never visit by myself
Thanks Paul!

Fantastic! The essence of Winter- snow, ice and wind in all its glory! Properly dressed and equipped, a wonder to behold!
This film has impressed me the most-so far; I still have a few more to watch. The constant danger gives the film a bit of an edge. Beyond that, the scenery itself is amazing. Thanks.

I could watch you like this for hours !
The last few minutes were magical. The "last man on earth" came to my mind. Film making at its best.

Amazing video Erik, incredible beautiful landscape, wild, a large set of survival skills required. enjoyed it to the last frame.
Thanks John. Glad to hear that! Atb
Outstanding winter adventure Erik, looked very cold and desolate which naturally made it all the more watchable. Well done. ⛺️
Thanks Mike. It was one of those 'alone on earth' moments.

Good to hear Patrice. Ice and desert have similarities
En njutning varje gång. Längtar redan efter nästa!
Vad vackert havet är på vintern!
Undrar om du frös på natten. Ser kallt ut 😉

Your videos are nice ❤️
Hei Erik, nice view when you are skiing towards the sun with camera mounted on your pulk. Another amazing outing ;-)
ATB. Franz, bugikraxn.
The sun at the snow is amazing, and I really enjoy this period of the year when the light is returning. Thanks Franz!
Great stuff man. love watching your videos. greetings from italy
Great to hear that! Thanks :-)
God he makes me nervous skiing over black ice like that. Gives me PTSD over a high shcool buddy of mine that fell through the ice and well? It ended badly.

Very enjoyable. Is there any danger from bears or wolves out there?
No they are very rare here, and also very shy of people. Thanks

@@erik_normark Love the shot at 18:25!
Nice! Og tak for de gode landskabsbilleder! :o)
Tack själv! :-)
Jesus walked on water, now we know how, artic.
Freddooooo!
Wonderful videos--thank you for uploading them. I hope you make many more. I was wondering about those green gaiters/booties you wear. They look like they would solve a problem I've always encountered when wearing down booties in deep snow. Who makes them and what are they called?
Thanks. They are made by Norwegian company Helsport. "Foot bags" I guess in english.
Here are half-a-doz Qs for you:

2. How do you decide WHERE to go?

Hey Erik. I enjoy your videos alot. They are like the slow-TV concept we have here in Norway.
I have a question. The drag you have on the pulk, does the plastic tubes work in real cold weather also.?
They are more fragile when very cold. I have double tubes at the ends to make them stronger. Thanks!
You walk on the water!
Great video. Has this Winter been especially windy where you live? Here in America we have had very heavy winds on a consistent basis.
Thanks. I think it has been more windy than usual, but mostly quite moderate winds here.
Great trip out Erik. Amazing time lapse of the bay. What skis/boots are you using for your winter adventure?
Nate
Thank you Nate. I use Fischer E109 skiis and Alpina bc 1600 boots.
How do you know where to go? Do you ever get lost? Lots of white snow and windy must be freezing.
