Ok, I learned of this song from a My Little Pony fanfic, where someone played an acoustic version of this on a Gittern. Somehow I think that was a bit of artistic license. Awesome song though, and I will be looking up this band!

Cat believe these are the guys from that boy band song. I was sure my whole life is was Wet Wet Wet than Spotify said Extreme.
Why are there parts of this solo that look like he's not really playing it? I can't tell if there is some editing issues or something else? Like the fast playing at the start does not look right. The part where he yawns it also sounds like it is being picked. Also at the end he hits open E and there is a slide that doesn't seem to sync with the footage or the sound heard.
there were multiple shows on that tour that were recorded (take a look at their song Run, the official video features a lot of unseen footage from the tour) , they probably used some parts from other shows in some bits for better sound
@@urkonconcerts That would make sense. Except the fast part is like that in every other live version as well. I know he uses delay to simulate fast picking so I wonder if there is some kind of behind the scenes setup going on?
@@MastaFrank01 ohh you mean the part at the beginning of the solo. I'll try to explain how he does it: basically he starts a hammer on and a pull off, and then upstroke-dowstroke, all on the same string, so he is just picking half the notes there yes! not a delay trick or anything, just pure nuno madness haha
@@urkonconcerts Ah I see how he does it. He must ave some pretty insane compression or distortion to get that hammer on to sound like a picked note. I think the muting may help and then tie in his style/rig setup too. My sound is way different so you would never get that kind of aggressive sound for a hammer on from my rig. Most people I see attempt the solo just forcefully fast pick it. That might explain the yawning section plus tie in what you mentioned early about different video and sound sources. Thanks
@@MastaFrank01 nuno's tone is special for sure, almost no mids, highs or pressence, and a RAT pedal used as a filter is what helps give that extra percussive tone, + the bill lawrence pickup on the bridge of the N4, and also you're correct, muting is a huge part of his sound. You're welcome! it's always nice to see more ppl interested in Extreme and Nuno's playing!
