Great video! I'm researching on lspr-enhanced upconversion too, and this video helped me a lot. Thanks!

we prepared carbon nanospheres that converts when studies under fluorescence microscope emit pink color and spectrum show emssion in red blue and uv region

The diagram drawn at 2:20 is completely backward and will serve to confuse the viewer. The typical blackbody spectrum of solar radiation is drawn normally, but the illustrator then reverses the energy levels of the x axis from what is correct. For the shape of the blackbody spectrum drawn, the HIGHER energies (blue light) are on the LEFT near the origin of the plot and the lower energy infrared wavelengths are on the far right, but then at 2:30 further diagram aids are drawn incorrectly illustrating the opposite case. ie., the illustrator is actually showing DOWNconversion on the plot, not upconversion.

No buddy, the diagram is right. The diagram you are referring to are intensity vs wavelength (solar irradiance graph). wavelength is inversely related to energy of a photon, hence the reversed plot. Also in upconversion we increase the energy so that too is correct.

@@Academic-cf8vx I'm afraid that you are the one who is in fact incorrect. The shape of the solar spectrum is highly distinct, with high energy blue and UV light intensity falling off rapidly, and red and IR light falling off asymptotically. The shape of the curve shown here would need to be mirror-reflected about the Y axis for the explanation to be correct in this video. Look up the actual curves and compare to what is shown here and you will see the error.

@@Muonium1 Thanks for correcting my mistake. There is indeed a mistake in the graph. IR side should have been spread and peak should have been on blue side. The graph and explanation was correct, just the plot was wrong.
