My personal experience on bike 40 to 85 kmph is that, this expressway is very less bumpy than NH12. Slowed projects get the benefits of some natural processes. 😊

Just naming something expressway doesn't make it a expressway. Expressways are access controlled, this is not. This is a normal city road.

Who told u this is an expressway? This is a 4 lane road. Expressway dekhte hole drive through the durgapur expressway😊

@@sandipgarai6074 When Belghoria Expressway was made in the 2000s (completed fully in 2008), that time there was no HYPE of 6 lane Expressways that exists today in the country. Even a 4 lane Expressway was a Expressway. Expressway is a road with NO signalled-intersections/crossings, more or less access-controlled. Belghoria Expressway is just that - only that it is not 6/8/10 laned...
But with time this road was not expanded (unlike we see elsewhere in the country). Probably owing to lack of funds in WB Govt. But good news is now it is getting expanded.
Same goes for Kalyani Expressways... built in the 80s, the 2 laned Expressway was still an Expressway - mostly for Goods carrier vehicles. Only in 2005 it was opened for general public travel. Now it is being expanded to 6 lanes + service lanes. Development takes TIME, and more importantly MONEY. Without Money, you cannot expect WB to have Expressways like North, South or West India...
How many Expressways has Central Govt really put any effort in for WB? Is Centre-State Relationship always an excuse...? Please think about it... thank you.
