hello !! Nice video ! I am looking to go with a group of friends at the end of march. To do a route that is not that far from yours ! Do you think it will be too hot ? What would be the problem ? And also I am looking to do winter camping, do you think it is possible ? (with good 4 season equipment). Thank you for your answer
Thank you! It should still be fine, although it will vary year to year (this video was shot end of March). The main risk you'll face with higher temperatures is that it might rain and that the lakes might start melting. The huts know best the local conditions, so before you leave you can always give them a ring. Winter camping is fine, I have done it as well in the Sarek. You have to take the right precautions to stay safe of course, but many people do it. You just have to bear in mind the temperatures can drop quite low at night, sometimes lower than -20C, so you really want all the right gear. If you plan to go in the Sarek, a satellite phone is also a must in my opinion.
This is the best Kungsleden video ever, and I‘ve pretty much watched them all! I laughed so much and so hard. Looks like an amazing and fun adventure. During which month did you go?
Funny video! Great work! The high temperatures were **** indeed. What date were you there? Oh and have you tried skiing down with full skins? That helps to make it slow-motion:)
Thank you! We were there the last week of March, so it was quite unexpected for that period of the year. We didn't try with full skins, but we are going back to Sarek this year, and I will definitely give it a try!
From Abisko to Saltoluokta??? in 7 days? directly? Are you joking. From Nikkaluokta you take the bus to Kiruna, then a bus to Gällivare and then from there to Saltoluokta (Ritsem), several hundreds of kolometers!! You did not do it on skis in 7 days, come on!!! What a pity!! Or have you gone over Faitum to Ritsem. A very difficult path...
I don't understand what's the problem? The just followed the Kungsleden trail. It is indeed about 130 km between Abisko and Saltoluokta, including an about 30 km with a bus.
Amazing! And great production value
Hilarious! Love the edit you guys!
Great and funny video! I like it a lot! :) A real refreshment after hundreds of nearly the same videos about Kungsleden.
really good film, you should make more
Nice😍 I love Kungsleden in winter😊

Brilliant Noe
Je me suis bien amusé. Bravo à vous. C'était quel mois ?
Merci! On est parti à mis mars. Si je devais le refaire, je partirais un peu plus tôt pour être sur de pas avoir des temperatures trop hautes.
