Coron, Palawan is a stunning destination that offers a unique blend of natural beauty, history, and adventure. With crystal-clear waters, breathtaking landscapes, and rich marine life, it’s no wonder why so many travelers flock to this paradise.
My Coron, Palawan experience began with a boat ride to Kayangan Lake and Twin lagoon - few of the most popular attractions in the area.
The water were so clear that I could see the vibrant corals and schools of fish swimming beneath me. The Kayangan lake was surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, adding to the already stunning scenery. I hiked up to the viewpoint overlooking the lake and was rewarded with a panoramic view of the emerald water. Was not able to get a picture since ang haba ng pila pero sulit ang experience talaga.
The following day, we explored the beaches and the historic WWII shipwrecks that lay beneath the surface of the water. With my snorkeling buddies gear on!
One dove down to get a closer look at the sunken Japanese warships and American naval vessels. It was a humbling experience to witness the remnants of such a significant event in history.
After a three full day of adventure, I relaxed on a beautiful white sand beach and watched the sunset over the horizon. The sky turned into a beautiful shade of pink, blue, and orange, and felt grateful to be able to witness such natural beauty.
The tour packages for two days includes lunch local cuisine, which included fresh seafood, chicken & pork - based dishes, and tropical fruits. The flavors were unique and delicious.
Overall, my Coron, Palawan experience was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken. From the stunning scenery to the rich history and culture, there’s something for every type of traveler. I can’t wait to go back and explore even more of this incredible destination.
