    I am from Northern Ireland, I hope you enjoyed your time here. A big connection with Titanic being built here and some of the victims being buried in Nova Scotia. I believe there is an excellent museum there too.

    She won't let anyone ever forget, that is certain. Always keep a Titanic music box in my stateroom when I travel and think of her. I wonder if Belfast exhibition is as haunted as the museums here in America? The hauntings have been proven multiple times.

    WOW!! ever since the recurring dream in 1985 about the discovery of the wreck, I have been ever so fascinated about the Titanic...
    I've always had a fascinated interest in Maritime ever since we travelled to the UK from Australia aboard the P&O Oriana...I enjoy buliding model ships of famous battleships, ocean liners and my favourite the Titanic, with it's history...my big collection with it's centre piece a statue of the Captain himself sculptured by Lady Kathryn Scott, and signed by the Captain's Great Nephew "Don Smith".
    I am wanting to visit Belfast when I can and would love to trully see the full tour of the exhibition, the museum and the normadic tour as well...the last remaining tender of the white star line to ferry the passengers out to the Titanic. Well Done for the video..thank-you for sharing.

    That first ship you saw was the S.S Nomadic it was a ship that was around since 1911 and that’s the actual Nomadic itself it’s the only white star line ship that’s still around today all the other ones sank and where scrapped

    I'm confused about something.. and I've always been interested in the titanic, and I noticed the launch date may 31, 1911
    (7:10) in your video..
    Yet in America we have been told it was 1912
    And that the day it launched was it's first voyage.

    • @chany8530
      @chany8530 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      so “launch” means when it left the shipyard … as in it left the shipyard and was then afloat during decorating/furnishing phase and then the sea trials which took probably the rest of the year into 1912. Her official “maiden voyage” was when she left to actually pick up passengers/transport them was in april 1912. Hope that helps :)

      @@jackwatsonepic626 The company and the builders were Protestant Unionists loyal to the Crown, they did not see them selves as being Irish. No Catholics Nationalists were involved so we Irish have nothing really to do with the design and the way it was built. You do realise the Museum is in Belfast which is in the UK. There is smaller exhibition to the Irish who were on the Titanic it is in Cobh(Queenstown). You should really read up a little before commenting.
