Theres a little detail I kinda noticed when playing as wesker, if you do soo good at countering and when the villagers notice, they will not attack they get scared of you or hesitant to attack you.

He is but as someone else mentioned, you don't seem to get a lot of healing items as Wesker. also he has no knife so if you are caught in a grapple you have no insta escape and you cannot kill a Ganado that's on the floor transforming. so there are things to balance him out.
Saddler Man was nerfed in the remake, in the original according to Shinji Mikami Saddler in his human form had infinite resistance unlike the monstrous one, and that Saddler was a super villain with super speed and etc, character wasted and nerfed in the remake due to the slow mechanics of the game
You know what kind of details i tend to wish or think of about Wesker... i kinda imagine that when he use his firearms like pistol or magnum, he shoots them with one hand like a boss to add even more badass trait to his character. But sadly he doesn't do that when we get to play as him. His zip zippin' superhuman ability is still insane to witness
Wesker's so OP that he doesnt need health items. But, being Wesker, I wished that the developers would've added an L1 downed enemy and escape mechanic. When enemies are downed and twitching, he can do Chikyo Chagi and when choked he can easily escape because, well, he's freaking Wesker!
He should have an instant kill throw escape (knife) option that is just the thing where he stabs his hand through your torso. The head-bust axe kick thing he used to have (the chicken cheese chipotle thing you said, right?) would have been cool for downed enemies, I totally agree. I'm noticing most of his martial arts are entirely upper torso. The teleport stuff and his parry/counter are cool as hell though. As much as I like him being super cracked, if they wanted to balance him they could do it by giving him like extremely poor health and defense. With i-frames like that on your melee moves, and his tremendously busted parry/counter-attack, not to mention the extreme privilege he enjoys in his mayhem mode, his incredible speed, too... Just, at a certain point it almost seems like he has no excuse to get hit in the first place.
It would have been cool if Capcom gave Wesker the ability to send enemies flying and toppling enemies like bowling pins with a charged punch like in old RE4.

Which hopefully the RE5 remake should honor the ORIGINAL plan and not the censored version. Then most likely Wesker will live unless Capcom might make his death canon by following the recent RE movie, Dead Island :(

Holyshit when modders datamined Wesker, Ada, they tried their best to make him working but now he's available officially and its so powerful he even better than the classic RE4 lol
I can't wait for the mod to use him in the story complete with his abilities if it doesn't already exist, I know him and ada have technically been available on pc through mods for months in mercenaries

I think the default difficulty in mercenaries is assisted or something. It's the same with every character. Enemies are very slow and deal close to no damage.

I enjoyed the remake SO much but when I tried professional mode it became frustrating for me, just like re3 remake on inferno, and I stopped playing. Now I'm back for the DLC.
