Wow what a dramatic and intense episode. The acting was beyond superb. I felt sorry for Natasha UNTIL she made Maise make the choice of whether to expose her or let her go. That was the most selfish act and to make one's child have to live with that choice is unforgivable!!! She even said Maise would have to live with her decision..so wrong on so many levels!!!
Maisie didn't realise as twisted as Nathan was her mother was worse. They were the worst in the family. Almost feel bad for Nathan because his own mother set him up. He was vile for setting Ryan up but she only admitted it wasn't Nathan until the very end. She was willing to let him rot. And maybe Nathan hated Ryan as he was the eldest. Faye was also the legal wife. But it's no excuse. Natasha is a monster. The dad should have just stayed with faye. If Natasha cared about her kids she'd have let him go and found someone else. Cain did the right thing as usual. Wonder if Nathan can be a better person. He's so slimy
What epic acting! This was so good; thanks for putting it up. Maisie just amazed me in particular; they way she stood up on her own two feet. And I don't think she should feel guilty. Obviously it's her Mum, but the fact remains she killed their dad and pinned it on Ryan. She's got nothing to be sorry for. I hope Ryan gets out and he, Maisie, Will and Faye can become a kind of family.
Amazing how Maisie's taking her dads side after discovering his multitude of sins including bigamy and infidelity (with his first wife Faye), her illegitimacy and unwitting incest with her brother Ryan (whom towards the end she was still attracted to). She had enough motive to kill him as Natasha and Nathan did. Natasha didn't have to but she chose to pull the trigger and blow Marks brains out.
Its not that shocking really. Like you said Massie resisted the urge to kill him and she was wronged as bad if not worse than Natasha. She still loved her Dad regardless of what he did she didn't want him dead and deep down nobody would.
@@gravemind6536 Ain't it the truth? Maisie never wanted Mark dead at all. Only to answer for the things he's done and the impact his secrets had on the family.
Killing mark was bad (I understand her anger, but she could of just left his ass) but framing Ryan who did absolutely nothing wrong in this whole situation? That was evil
@@Senate300 so glad Maisie ditched both of them. I wish that she could come back even just for a short visit, so we could see what she went on to do with her life. She started off as this annoying spoiled girl and left a more mature likeable person who was committed to raising her brother away from their toxic family.
@AlanRM1000 Yeah totally agree with you there. The standard of acting in Emmerdale is on a much higher level than some other soaps. Certainly far better than that over-acted, over-dramatised rubbish in Eastenders.
I agree the acting was great. Even the dialogue was good. But... this was very out of character for Cain. Although I didn't see part one, so I'm unaware of what went on there, I'm very surprised he would tell Maisie BEFORE he even asked for ransom money from Natasha for Nathan. Once he got the money, I could see him calling Maisie inside, to hopefully get to the truth. But, as far as I can tell... he never even asked for money, a'tall and... that's just NOT Cain's character!!! And he now gets off scot-free concerning the blackmail? That's not justice, either. Nor is Nathan getting away with being complicit in covering up a murder and planting evidence against someone else. IF he does get away with it, that is. Thanks for uploading!!!
That was an intense episode. I hope that in a few months there will be a scene where we learn what's natasha's sentence. Even the best barristers won't be able to do much to help Natasha. A jury could feel sorry for a betrayed wife but not for a woman who planted evidence, framed an innocent young man who happened to the son of the man she murdered. If she had fessed up immediately she would have been out of jail after a year ot two.
I think Natasha will take the wrap for not only killing Mark but also setting up Ryan. Although Nathan did most of the setting up, she will not want him to suffer too, since HER killing Mark(THEIR father) set everything in motion. I don't think Maise will rat Nathan out either, cuz that would mean exposing what Cain did 2 him and although she said she would say she did it,Nathan could bring kidnapping and assault charges against both them. Her main concern will be Will and not Nathan going 2 jail
How come the police never query why Nathan is tied up with head wounds. In the next days episode he is back in the house and Cain is just around the village as normal!
Well considering the police were more interested in the truth a hardly think they were concerned about nathan and as maisie said cain did what she was going to take the blame for him confessing the truth try watching it again mate properly then it might make more sense
Finally it's out in the open, I get why Natasha killed Mark. But I can't forgive her pinning it on an innocent Ryan and then making Maisie feel bad for turning her in. Hopefully Ryan gets out soon.
Great episode. Cain with the funnies. Ha. Natasha is a piece of work. She killed her husband and sent herself to prison. She has nerve putting it on Maise. I love how Will walked away from her. I hope the cop feels like the fool that he is.
OMG Finally. I guess this will be the end of the Wylde family. Oh well. Where are Aaron and Jackson. Oh I just love Caine now. Good guy. He knew how to get a confession and save his friend.
@southsideknitter That and I would think it would be a great scene. Ryan visiting Nathan now inside for his crimes. And calmly letting him know that Ryan now has everything Nathan wants. He has his freedom, Maisie and Will love, and being the eldest and legal son he has control of the money. But I see Ryan giving most of it away to charity and making sure his love ones will want for nothing. Showing the men they are, Nathan would probably hoard the money, where Ryan would be generous with it.
@southsideknitter True Ryan has said he doesn't want anything from them and I believe that's true. But maybe Maisie and Will don't want it either, I think Maisie main focus right now is making sure Will is safe. I doubt she wants to deal with the company/money right now, maybe they ask Faye to oversea everything for them. Legally she is the first wife and I think if your a part of causing someone's death you can't benefit from their will. So wouldn't that cut Natasha and Nathan out?
Cain should’ve stayed out of it, tbh. I mean I know Ryan is innocent-but there are other ways to prove it. And when Nathan ( who, ok, is a nasty piece of work) gets out, and he will, he’s hardly going to say “ That’s ok, Cain, mate. I know you kidnapped me and kept me in a dilapidated barn for ages, but let’s go to the Woolpack and the drinks are on me.” is he?
@AlanRM1000 I think the jury saw what Nathan and Natasha wanted them to see. They played everyone like a fiddle, I wonder how long they will be around before they leave the show. Ryan has to be freed and I'm sure they will have some kind of show down between Ryan and Nathan. And maybe Maisie and Will telling Ryan they want him to have the inheritance? I can see Maisie taking Will away to protect him from the aftermath.
@AlanRM1000 Yeah Ryan won't be released for at least a few days maybe a week. They have to get all the paper work and red tape sorted. I'm surprised the guy even made detective considering the horrible job he's did. The actor playing Nathan did say they left the door open for him to come back. So I can see him showing his face again.
@southsideknitter Ryan should she the cop for false imprisonment and false arrest. Throw the bible phrase "judge not lest not ye be judged" at him/her too.

This Episode was Soo good. The actors did and exemplary job here and the writers wrote and awesome storyline and the ending was SPOT ON!
This storyline is good, the kidnaping with Cain is really, really interesting.
Thanks Jon.
samanthapetrelli it was good. Nathan suffered, he got nothing to eat or drink off cain for 4 days. He would be terribly thirsty and starving.
How come Nathan sent Ryan too prison yet he cries when Cain tells him that Ryan has been sent down for daddy's murder

@@amywonderland9297 Yep. Nathan's idea of course. Especially since he despised Ryan simply for existing.

I would Neva send my Mum down call me a Mummy’s girl💗There is no other like a Mum’s unconditional Love💕
Gina Star I think with no food or water for 4 days Nathan just got soo thirsty he had to admit it?
@AlanRM1000 Yeah totally agree with you there. The standard of acting in Emmerdale is on a much higher level than some other soaps. Certainly far better than that over-acted, over-dramatised rubbish in Eastenders.
BRAVO TO ALL THE ACTORS AND WRITERS OR EMMERDALE!!!!
Where's part 1 of this ?
The whole time in that barn Nathan stays tied up on the floor starving and thirsty.

Its kinda weird how Lyndon Ogbourne (Nathan) is 28 years old and Alice Coulthard (Maisie) is 30 ! :) And then Oscar Llyod (Will) is only 14 !
I know it was horrible what she did... but I was screaming at my computer screen saying NOOOOOOO!!!! It was an oh so good episode

Oh dear, do I see another asylum sojourn in Maisie's future? She is so frail. The poor girl.
at last the cold bloody murderer has owned up and taken away by the police
Nathan would of been absolutely starving though

@npe1 Ryan doesn't care about the millions, he only wants to be a mechanic.
And now Ryan - time to claim your inheritance.
Natasha & Nathan ended up being the REAL MONSTERS after Natasha Murdered Mark & with Nathan's help was prepared to see Ryan convicted in her place

Nathan won't come back after what he'd done and cains not scared of him. Cain did the right thing
poor Nathan. Why does he need to be on that cold floor the entire time? couldn´t Natasha have untied him?
