As a new player to elden ring and doing co op eith a friend being my guide and letting me learn the game, invasions at my level are just twinks with little skill and one shot weapons, but i bet once i get the weapons they moved over to their lower character i can start being able to fight back

Invasions are so imbalanced in favor of the host, it's like the only reason the mechanic exists in Elden Ring is to massage the ego of hosts who can't even traverse the open world without babysitters, instead of actually being a way to balance coop so people couldn't steamroll the entire game, like it used to be in the other souls games
