This has been bothering me for a while now. When Robin says “ the family won’t tolerate you anymore” it really sounds like her voice is switched to some kind of text to speech and she sounds like a robot. Even Sparkle’s next line “alright, alright” sounds a bit robotic too
That's kind of the point. The story up to that point was Robin's resolve being tested. She starts off wanting the Charmony Festival to not happen. Then she sees the good that Penacony is supposedly doing for people and her resolve starts to waiver. Even that statement of "The Family won't tolerate your presence here" is so thick with the old mentality and sentiments she had while under the Order's spell, that it is meant to show her slipping back under its spell. I personally don't hear it in Sparkles voice myself, but I REALLY heard it with Robin (which was on purpose as I said above). Definitely a scary but awesome moment in Robin's story progression :)
Thank god there's been a rise in English va's cause I'm just sick and tired of reading bottom text and being (Not) excited for a jp va. Like I can't even tell the difference when it come to jp.
