Wow, this video is exactly what I needed! I've always struggled with performance anxiety, but visualizing success like Michael Phelps calming himself down with full goggles seems like a game-changer. Thanks for sharing such practical tips, Art of Improvement! #mentalvisualization #performancehack
Great video, as always ; but I found the musical background, in the second part (starting 7:17), a bit disturbing while listening... Oh, by the way, I wish you (and all TH-camr who watch/listen to your creations) a great 2025 year :)
@@4th_and_Long I didn't - maybe the absence of music in all his videos I watched is one of the reason (for my personal taste, I'd prefer no music, or maybe, with lower volume)
When I make albums I already know they will hit the mark. Because I fuckin said so lol... I just have to rediscover them. Belief is powerful, but I think it only works if it is fated... More like memory...
I would like to ask, incase of preparing for an exam or something how'd you visualize since you don't really know what might be asked on the test? (Apart from the act of sitting and focusing which might be helpful by itself.)
Unfortunately I don't think everybody has this ability. I do this everyday though even for each day before I go out like the roads I will walk and where to first.
@4th_and_Long you've never learnt that some people think with visuals and some think with words and then there's others that can't hear speech in their mind with basically no inner voice?
@@DamionJustin I think the lack of images doesn’t have to detract from the message of this video. You can adapt and use the capacities you have in your mind to think about how your desired future would be, put together the details how you are able, and use that “picture” with no visuals to guide your action and prepare you for what happens.

It’s a normal tone used in many types of meditation practices. Perhaps look inward to why that music disturbs you

Visualize yourself answering the questions with ease and the feeling of getting a 100% on it and how people will react.
Are there end-of-chapter questions?

There’s natural ability and then there’s learned/acquired ability.

@abj136 that's called planning. But this video is about visualizing
