While I agree with your stance, are you sure that this is the only issue that you should determine your vote on? What about all of the bible verses about how to treat immigrants, our Christian perspective on welfare, social security nets that take care of widows and orphans, or electing a leader that spreads falsehoods and threats of violence toward the "other?" You struggled to find bible verses about abortion, but there are over one hundred about these other topics I mentioned. Also, given the specificity in Leviticus about topics such as when a woman is raped she must marry her attacker, don't you think that God would have mentioned abortion more clearly if he felt so strongly about it? He did give clear direction on these other topics and they are definitely voting issues. Again, not arguing against your perspective on abortion, just arguing that it is by far not the only issue we should be basing our vote on if we are to vote according to a biblical perspective. I've been following you and your church for years, keep up the good work and I'll keep praying for your mission.
