Theoretically yes
Practically no, this is because the taal differs with different internal patterns which even if double the mantra can give a whole other flavour
Such as in Jhaptaal the pattern is 2,3,2,3
And in Soolfak is 2,2,2,2,2 these subtle changes in the pattern cause a whole new flavour the 10 Matra taal 7.75
And 15.5 have different taal with different patterns and you distinguish that this Jori performance was in 7.75 and not 15.5
