- Archie the Samoyed is so obsessed with cats that he will become an anchor and forget how to walk when he sees any cats. Even when he's at doggy daycare surrounded by other dogs, he begs to go outside to watch the cats for hours on end, which they call his "Cat TV." His parents finally caved and got Archie his very own kitten, B. B the kitten took a bit to get used to Archie, but now they even go on walks together and cuddle!

I had a Chihuahua like this as a kid. She LOVED cats. A random mother cat had kittens on our porch and she was in heaven! The mother cat eventually got tired of chasing the little dog off and just accepted the free babysitting. When it came time to find homes for the kittens, my dog freaked out and hid the last one. My little dog is long gone, but the kitten she made us keep is now 20!

This was very wholesome~ 😊 Dogs have a hard time containing or hiding their excitement. Which is why cats, a species that easily gets overstilmulated by such behaviour, often avoid dogs or keep a distance lol. But Archie knew he had to keep calm if he wanted the cat to accept him😂😎 A very smart cat-obsessed fella~
Brought tears to my eyes remembering how our foster cat in the Caribbean would follow us on walks ❤️🙏❤️. My alpha dog had zero interest in her but when she had a kitten, my dog was obsessed with that kitten named Basil. What beautiful memories, please foster and adopt y’all 🙌

I had a Yorkie once, we had 3 cats also, so she grew up with cats, she was obsessed with kittens though. When she would see a kitten she would tremble/shake, we had some feral litters in our back yard and she would just shake when she saw them, given a chance to get close she would lick their whole faces..Was beyond cute. Miss her < 3

For Archie, a cat was like that special TOY we all wanted as a kid. And we promised we would never ask for anything else! The difference is we soon lost interest in our toy. Whereas, Archie remains devoted to B the kitten.
For me, it was Rock em Sock em Robots - until the next big thing came along!

Based on what?, the dog didn't seem to be showing especially much interest after the initial excitement.
We have 3 chows, we recently found a small kitten wandering crossing the street and coming to the park where we were, in was around 9pm, so we decided to take her in and give her food to take her to the shelter the next day. One of our dogs, was just like Archie, so excited and curious and when we took her to the shelter the next day, we were all immediately saddened that we took her, including our dog. She kept trying to look for her. The next day, we rushed back to the shelter to see if we can get her back, and we did, we were able to foster her while we adopt her and Luna our dog, can not get enough of her. we named her Destiny, we were destined that day to find each other at the park ❤ Right now Destiny is in her scared era seeing three big dogs but I am looking forward to the moment they all get along :)

I know what it takes to keep the dog groomed AND the house clean. I had a very large white tom cat at the same time and she wanted to eat him. Obviously not the same personality as yours. 😂 She did get ahold of my partial plate and ate everything but the wires.

Samoyeds are just pure love machines. Been blessed with 4 in my life so far and each one was special in its own way ! But every one of them shared some characteristics I saw in Archie. You are lucky folks ! Not everyone gets to understand the true meaning of unadulterated love !
