Delicious suggestions ands tips. Especially the gravel travel potion going down the sluice. I'd never realized that is what I was looking for but that explanation was spot on. Applicable not just for high bankers but for general sluicing where engines aren't allowed, like in portions of California where I scratch for gold. Your PDF is also a tremendous guide too. Thanks for all the adventures and hints. Aloha

I recently posted a short showing a good example of the boil box action in the highbanker hopper, exactly as you described Chris. Keeps the material at the top of the the hopper and helps break up clay and mud. 👍

large slits in wash bar to create a "fan" wash helps when you are recirculating water and might have sticks or seeds plugging the wash bar holes. Tending the holes can turn into a full time job

Hey Bro, watch Dan Herd video on mistakes made high banking. He intentionally made every mistake possible from angles to flow rate and his losses were much less than I would have thought, gold does what it does I guess.

What astro turf you use and what type is effective and does the bunnings sell the right turf for the application?

Got off to a rough start but you got your legs and finished superbly. Maybe do a livestream on the live stream of a sluice box set up. Just a thought.

Thanks for the video, In one of your other video's I saw 2 layers of expanded metal together. Does that work better in you area and how did you keep them together?

yes this, i set my highbanker up with 2 layers after seeing that, worked awesome didn't pack full as quickly, i welded mine together, but zipties, or just wire ties would hold it solid enough

Yes I agree Australian's slaughter the english language, one thing among many things that bothers me about Australia english is that they do not pronounce the "R's" after a vowel.
