As always Cats are very curious about everything.Nice to see them playing with the packing peanut. That copper pot is so beautiful. You sure have a good eye for antiques.Hope your back feels better soon.
Your moving of timbers was a thing of beauty, I haven’t seen any one other than us stonies use rollers and planks. The best way to transfer long, heavy lengths from vehicles. Thanks for showing it, I bet there are a lot of young viewers that haven’t seen that technique. I am enjoying your ideas and ways you share them!
You are so patient with all of us 'mom' sorts giving you advice. We can't help ourselves when we care about someone we become 'mom'. Love what is taking shape with the fireplace.
Gosh. I sure don’t miss getting outside to clean off my vehicle at 6:00am, to drive in 8” of snow going to work. Did that for 40 winters. Now, we live, shovel free, in Mexico City. I just saw your spoon/fork combo. The original spork. 😂
Today I have a sore back so my sympathies are with you Sean. Glad you are finding ways to work that are easier on your body. Love seeing the kittens! 🙏🏼❤️
Sean, we are having same weather in Minnesota (new snow but a bit colder), looks the same. Do stay warm! Watched both your channels (nice to have two), superb...Love the new tile surrounds. Fireplace will be extraordinary. You continue to amaze me!!! Continue nursing your back, then a hot bath and nice rest, with warm quilts and kitties on the bed. That is my treatment these past 50+ years. Get some rest. Your work will always be waiting when you are ready to continue. Thank you for another great adventure!
Smart steps taking those pieces of wood out of the car and into the cottage by yourself and without putting a strain on your back. I wish you had someone helping you, but your videos show how one can do it by themselves. I must say I’m not sure who’s more mischievous you or the cats. But they are so very sweet, and you truly enjoy them. Take care of your back.
Fire place stones getting there 🤗👍 Kittens are so cute 🤗 Sam is Sean getting closer to fitting the widow 🤔 or are we waiting for fine weather 🍰☕🔥🍰☕💐 Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Sometimes I wish I had a brain like yours. I suppose it's because I've never been taught such things and have very little experience with such. Great job!
an original "spork" literally! I like the cats all helping you unpack. My cats think something is going to get them, but the banging around of the fish pan didn't phase those babies! I have never ever seen a car with hydraulics that you can change. must be a European thing..the only ones in the US that can do that have been customized and make crazy noises and have crazy lights because they are for street races and shows.
We use the same brush to clean the snow off our cars. Sean and the ancient Egyptians had the right idea. I love ingenuity and problem solving, great job,. 💖
You had a stellar show today. Please be careful with your back. Watch those kitties around packaging material. It is easy for kitties to get materials stuck in their mouth. I love your new show. I am ready for the second show.
About those tiles, if you could find some square or round tiles to the corners they would finish the border and no need to cut any of those lovely old tiles. 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you are able to move forward in a cautious manner! I have a suggestion for kneeling on the cold stones : take a strong garbage bag, crumple newsprint into loose balls and stuff them in until it resembles a thick overstuffed chair pad. Squeeze out the air and tie up the bag. We use this as an insulator for our tractor seat, something waterproof to sit on during outdoor bonfires and winter picnics. Cheers
Hi, looking forward to seeing the progress of the fireplace but you really need to look after your back as it’s so easily aggravated with those old heavy stones, but it’s looking fantastic Sean well done 😊
@@Seans_WorldI wish I could share in a short post what my husband is enduring now, in back problems because he had the same mindset as you, Sean. At least get some biokentics advice, to strengthen your core.
I'm always thankful that you have a yt channel. just a pack of perseverance and the joy it can Give you and a partake of your future projects... hello to sam and her frend... ❤️
Well done Sean. You really do know what you are doing. Your onlookers are very cute. The fire place is looking good. Best wishes to you and all your family from Pam in Grafton New South Wales Australia.
You are amazing at moving those heavy beams around. Genius. I love the large copper pot with the thistle design. Kitten's help is aways desired Keep warm. Cheers
Yes, those wheel-skids worked for the Egyptians when they moved their obelisks, and for the druids when moving the Stone Henge monoliths...You learned your applied physics well in school, Sean...and your real life illustration was illuminating!!! Your teachers would be smiling ear to ear...Brilliant! And single-handed, too. You are the lever man! I always end up in bed for weeks. Impressive!
Glad you are managing your back by making lifting heavy things to the minimum Sean, Like you say you have had it a long time. Nice pieces of copper Sean. Its getting there the fire place Sean looking good,😘
Well done getting those large planks of wood out the car! I have a system of getting large bags of potting mix into trolleys, into car and back home. I drape it over the top of the trolley, tip into boot of car then drop onto a movers trolley when home to wheel anywhere into the garden. Just requires a bit of thought 😊
Also, Sean, if you bag a thick piece of insulation the size of a thick rectangular pillow, you will have a "warm" place to kneel while you toil on your cold stones, thus chasing arthritis in your knees away for a few more years. Your warmer calves, ankles and feet will be happier, too, and you probably already have the soft insulation upstairs in the cottage..it flexes like a feather pillow when you just move it about and a very thick plastic acts as an indestructible, waterproof pillow cover...Good luck. Hope you find this helpful...
I don’t need to tell Sean to stop lifting the heavy heavy things! Im in physical therapy for picking up too many heavy items and disregarding all rules about injuries!
Sean! I have never understood why the copper pots, pans, etc. were coated/plated with tin. Would you be kind enough to explain why a lesser metal was fused to a finer metal?
I knew about using dowels to move long heavy objects, but not about using a base board to act as support. I’m referring to you using underlying boards to pull the long ones out of the car. It was a “lightbulb” moment for me. I was thinking, “heck yeah, I can do that! So while I am sorry you have a back injury, I am grateful for your teaching. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, thank you! Great video.
Sitting here watching you build a fire Sean for the warmth and where i am ( Western Australia) its 41 deg celsius . I know which one i would prefer (yours actually ).
That is beautiful Sean that pot. Great for cast iron cooking in big pots over the fire. Do you have knee pads you can use or a gardening knee pad to save your knees.
Sean you know what would look nice studs, two on each end on the front of the so looks like chunky wood pieces are fastened together with them kinda fake studs could be stubby and hammer them in exact holes so they don’t have to be long … the iron guy might even have some made already …
I have a piece of carpet that I can put under heavy items and slide them along on wood or vinyl floors. I also have a piece of vinyl that was left over that I use in the same way to move things over carpet. It also saves damage on floors as well as the back. Will be borrowing the wood perches from the birds cage next time after watching you. 🦜😄
As always Cats are very curious about everything.Nice to see them playing with the packing peanut. That copper pot is so beautiful. You sure have a good eye for antiques.Hope your back feels better soon.
Perfect example of working smarter, not harder!
Where there is a will there is a way even if that means getting help. The Fireplace is going to be amazing!
The kittens are so adorable! Take care of yourself!

Hope you & the family are completely recovered very soon, rest up & take care.
Those dowels were a great idea. Work smarter, not harder! Way to go!
You are so patient with all of us 'mom' sorts giving you advice. We can't help ourselves when we care about someone we become 'mom'. Love what is taking shape with the fireplace.
That shot of the exterior it looks so good. The work you did with the paving slabs out side the cottage and the windows. It’s looking very smart.
My mum used to often move the furniture when cleaning to rearrange the room. She used her old wooden rolling pin. lol 😊

Its looking great. The kittens are lovely. Take it easy with your back ❤

Fabulous episode! Very enjoyable and educational! Thank you all very much! Be well, stay safe all.🥰😊💖
Sean you do such hard work by yourself, love the ittens so cute, till nx time stay safe and healthy. :)

Glad to see you taking care of your back. You managed that timber well. 💕
Sean, Don't be afraid to ask for help. I'm sure that there are a lot of people who would gladly give you a hand.
I have help when l need it, l like to work on my own when l can 😊👍
Fire place stones getting there 🤗👍
Kittens are so cute 🤗
Sam is Sean getting closer to fitting the widow 🤔 or are we waiting for fine weather 🍰☕🔥🍰☕💐

Clever and resourceful!
And love the “kitty helpers” ❤😂
We use the same brush to clean the snow off our cars. Sean and the ancient Egyptians had the right idea. I love ingenuity and problem solving, great job,. 💖
Good job Sean in making a plan to get the timbers in the cottage. All the best with the rest of renovation
Take care of yourself, Sean. Don’t let your injury derail your dreams.
You had a stellar show today. Please be careful with your back. Watch those kitties around packaging material. It is easy for kitties to get materials stuck in their mouth. I love your new show. I am ready for the second show.
Yes it was taken straight away from the kittens 😸

As someone with a back issue, I really appreciate your techniques Sean!
So happy about the second channel Sean! Tyvm for giving me more to look forward to watching ❤
Hope you enjoy it!
Hi, looking forward to seeing the progress of the fireplace but you really need to look after your back as it’s so easily aggravated with those old heavy stones, but it’s looking fantastic Sean well done 😊
In fairness l pushed too hard, most people would have probably aggravated their back 😤 aswell 😊👍
@@Seans_WorldI wish I could share in a short post what my husband is enduring now, in back problems because he had the same mindset as you, Sean. At least get some biokentics advice, to strengthen your core.
Yea I guess we all learn to know our own limits, good luck x
Sean, you're brilliant!
Sorry Sean, it’s such a bummer your back is sore. You do amazing work. I really hope you can rest it so it doesn’t go out completely.
Sean, interesting to see you employ “the little grey cells” to devise methods to help you move those huge timbers!
I'm always thankful that you have a yt channel. just a pack of perseverance and the joy it can Give you and a partake of your future projects... hello to sam and her frend... ❤️
Magnificent plan on moving those timbers!!! And as simple as that the pyramids were built! Probably was safer that way than with two people!😮😊
Well done Sean. You really do know what you are doing. Your onlookers are very cute. The fire place is looking good. Best wishes to you and all your family from Pam in Grafton New South Wales Australia.
Bet you can't wait for the Spring and summer Sean.
You are amazing at moving those heavy beams around. Genius.

I really appreciate your innovative little tips 😊❤
Smart moves for those big Timbers! Love love the kitty clips!
Always looking better. 👍👍👍
When I was a young lad in the Navy, an old chief told me to lift with your brain and not your back. Glad to see you lifting with your brain. 👍🏻
Glad you are managing your back by making lifting heavy things to the minimum Sean, Like you say you have had it a long time. Nice pieces of copper Sean. Its getting there the fire place Sean looking good,😘
Black and black-and-white kitties are my favorites. Look at the size of Sean's biceps! No gym time for him. Just hard graft. 💪💪
😆 l do go to the gym 🏋️♀️ it helps my back
The kitties always make me smile . . .
Well done getting those large planks of wood out the car!
I have a system of getting large bags of potting mix into trolleys, into car and back home.

Just requires a bit of thought 😊
Well done, as they say ‘work smarter, not harder’. Looking forward to the next phase of the fireplace.
Beautiful copper pieces. The fireplace will look really smart when finished
ON YOU kiddo!! Brilliant work on getting those timbers out of the car and onto the bench!!
Thanks 👍
That's how they moved the stones to build stone henge 😁
🤣
These are beautiful pieces.
I really like the decorative tile. Good choice.😊

I did you some foam l had
Beautiful copper! I love thistles‼️‼️‼️‼️
Upstairs for thinking, downstairs for dancing !
Thanks for taking me to the lumber yard.
I like the way you think, how can i do this alone, good job.
I wish I had your vision and creative ideas - it sounds marvellous with the blacksmith made seats either side and the beautiful tiles!
I enjoyed seeing the lumber yard! Great thinking with moving the timber! Great work and progress! Crack on!
Hi everyone. How are you?
Getting better thanks 😊
Genius!!!
You did it Sean with common sense planning. Good for you!
Looking forward to the timbers going in! Looking good!
Thanks for lighting the fire. It makes me feel warmer here in vold South Carolina.
cold
Bravo Sean
Ahhhhhh...a cozy fire on a chilly day....with kittens afoot!
Those kittens are a hoot!
I don’t need to tell Sean to stop lifting the heavy heavy things! Im in physical therapy for picking up too many heavy items and disregarding all rules about injuries!
Blimey Sean. You will be building pyramids next! Have you thought of using an old club fender for the ironwork? 🙂
Yes but very hard to find
Geez, Sean. All the engineering skills of an Egyptian pyramid-builder. Great work.
Sean! I have never understood why the copper pots, pans, etc. were coated/plated with tin. Would you be kind enough to explain why a lesser metal was fused to a finer metal?
Stop the food being tainted, and discolouration of the food, its argued too much copper isn't healthy
I hope you can get a helping hand from friends you have worked with with before, perhaps? Be safe in the slippery weather!
Loving your official mail inspectors!
Your kitties are so curious ! I recently had the stomach bug for three days, makes you very tired !
Necessity is the mother of invention 😊.
Love the ktties
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those stones and the process entailed …..I can’t wait …
Thinking out side the box Sean watch that back ❤❤
🫢🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it 😊

I would never had thought of rigging up all that stuff☹️
BEST
Over there in winter you need sheds to keep the cars in from getting buried in snow.
Beautiful drive!🥰💖👍

U got snow. ❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That is beautiful Sean that pot. Great for cast iron cooking in big pots over the fire. Do you have knee pads you can use or a gardening knee pad to save your knees.
2:06 are you done with that box yet?
Im good thanks got my wine so all is good xxx
Good work 😊😊😊
Where's there a will, there's a way Sean!
Would wearing a back brace help you at all? Take care, chronic back pain is terrible.
Sean you know what would look nice studs, two on each end on the front of the so looks like chunky wood pieces are fastened together with them kinda fake studs could be stubby and hammer them in exact holes so they don’t have to be long … the iron guy might even have some made already …
