Thanks for the video. My Zafira B has much narrower vents, making it really difficult to get the sensor out, and then replacing with the new one. I found it easier to remove the bolts holding the main bonnet grill in place. That allowed me to put my arm down behind it, changing the sensor from the back.
Can't find a fix for my Opel Combo van, the outside temp gauge was showing 65.5c today. I live in spain but its def gone bananas as its nearer 15c today 9th April. Thanks for this though, now I know the car aint gonna explode!
Fantastic - nice work. Did you replace the console with piano black trim? It looks excellent. Just wondered if you replaced the CD30 MP3 or swapped out the front panel? Thanks for the content.
Can confirm this the same on Insignia 2013 Sports Tourer. My sensor got faulty and caused the climate control inside the cabin to behave erracticly. Any other temperature setting than HI caused cooling since it thought it was +40°C outside according to the ambient sensor. When I switched the sensor the climate control worked flawlessly again.
I just replaced the sensor in my Corsa and I’m having the same issue you had. The temperature isn’t in the 60s anymore but it is still displaying about 6 degrees too high. Did yours level out to the correct temperature eventually?
yeah eventually it did. i thought at the time it was because i was holding the sensor in my hand and warming it up. but maybe it does calibrate itself with time
In my 2007 Corsa D there is no temperature sensor and any cable that could allow me to connect one. Is this caused by previous owner that changed something, or some Corsas did not have one?
@@eepykami You actually helped me more than anyone I spoke to and every site I visited looking for answer, so thank you! When I get the chance I will try to find some wires that have been cut, maybe I will be able to fix it sooner or later.

Mine says -49 however no wires where this is makes me think were it gone
