Thank you Sir, for serving our country during WWll, and thank you for playing in and starring in S O many great westerns through the years. R. I. P. GEORGE 🇺🇲 MONTGOMERY
Montgomery grew up in Montana and was an expert horseman; played college football. Folks might remember he was married to Dinah Shore and they had kids together! Mr. Montgomery was an artist AND fine furniture maker in his advanced years. 🙏🕊💙
@@Vigilante-k4q My ancestors were from Ireland, came to America in the early 1700s. Virginia was where my ancestors landed, and like many Southerners, started migrating west, eventually to Texas.
The Ranger was played by the great character actor Denver Pyle who acted in good guy roles and bad guy roles and everything in between in the westerns.
The cattleman who deposited $3,000 in the bank was played by Roy Barcroft who played more bad guys in the movies than probably anyone else, mostly in Republic Pictures B westerns. Wiki says he appeared in some 300 films in his career!
Notice how all the horses toss their heads in these Westerns its those cruel curb bits those filmmakers use with heavy-handed riders the real cowboys did not use those bits
This is a totally great flick. The drama in some of these old westerns is unmatched
This is one of the better westerns. The bad guy turns good. Honesty prevails!

Adding colorization was an expensive addition to a low budget movie in the early days when money was tight!.....
I can't understand why this movie wasn't made in color in the first place.

Thank you for the knowledge that you share
Yeah.. film makers should be forced to wear curb bits for a few days
They should not colorized black and white movies, they look terrible and takes the charm away.
=5+.
why not translated to Arabic ?
Nothing was said about the kid mother
Looks cheap when colorized, can still see black and white in the background. Just leave them original
Sheriff said he had blue eyes but their brown😄
