I'll tell you since I'm a Muslim living in Europe Muslims who live in America or Europe practice Islam less strictly due to the impact of their surroundings and the area they're growing in I'm born Muslim who lives in France, my country highly promotes secularism which leads everyone to stop thinking with religion And not only in Europe, Muslims in America too, it's all about where you grow up I also grew up with a non religious dad so my mom had to teach us Islam by herself and she never fully did I don't pray, I don't read Quran but I do make dua and fast during Ramadan and help the poor
