I was beyond blessed to go on my dream trip to Israel last May of 2023. This was one of the most interesting and magnificent sites we visited. I am still in awe of having walked in so many places of the Bible. It really made scripture come to life. May God be with Israel 🇮🇱 at this incredibly difficult time.
I volunteered at the dig on Hippos eight years ago. The small theater is a Odeion, intended for smaller gatherings - maybe poetry readings and such. There is a full-size theater that is just starting to be exposed on the lower portion of the site, just beyond the saddle. It is substantially bigger. It is mostly unexcavated, but you can see the bowl of it as the dark area off to the left of the approach road in the arial view at the 13:00 mark
I wondered about Sussita when I was staying at Ein Gev in May of 23 during a tour of the country - I was surprised that we stayed so close to one of the cities of the Decapolis and nobody even mentioned it. Each morning I would see that flat-topped hill and wonder if something was there.
If you judged someone for breaking a vow when you were not saved and you break your vows as well would you then have to keep that vow to be saved sorry if this is a silly question

We were there in 07. Amazing to see all of this, every Christian should try to visit Israel and go on a tour of these areas.
