this was my first ending holy hell....it's a really great plot...honestly love this game and replayed it again recently with a similar ending except I almost took the mask...(the other option where you breathe in the fumes instead of burning it leads into that.)

This is the ending I got on my first play through. With the exception of Blake, his story went a lot differently for me.

@@berenwelter8835 I sorta understood it...basically drugs and prophecy and a cult...except it could be in erica's mind as she goes insane...though I think mia greene could be real and who knows...maybe mia influenced erica with the drug to get revenge for erica's mother death....it's very difficult to say if the cult is real or in the people's heads as maybe a way of coping...it's very dark though

You have to play the game repeatedly and different ways to fully understand. Thats why I love the game.

Mostly, yes. The conspiracy that Delphi House was conducting experiments on its patients and that they were part of some weird cult was correct. However, in terms of her claim that your mother is alive, I’m unsure. You never physically see your mother in the game, only in visions. If she was then she would surely have died when Delphi House burns at the end.
There’s also a theory that Mia wasn’t even real, and in fact was Erica’s split personality! Sorry the game is a mind f*ck.
