@@MONQTV there's also superhero movie titled Gundala that incorporated silat in its action scenes. No Iko n Yayan, but there's Cecep Arif Rahman (the assassin) played as the villain n did the fight choreography. Iko will play the main character in another Indonesian classic 'superhero' movie. Very excited, as there will be Indonesian cinematic universe (completely different from the marvel's, i think) that use silat as the core of their action scenes

You should check out Iko Uwais and Joe Taslim movie on Netflix "The Night Comes For Us". My favorite movie after The Raid movies.
Yes saw it lol any movie that has fight scenes like that in it that is on Netflix I most likely saw it lol I love martial arts. You have to watch WIRA it's an Indonesian film that just came in Netflix about a month or so ago.

@@MONQTV That's awesome, sir! You're right, The Raid was the film that made silat known more globally. My personal preference of Iko's film is Merantau, I recommend you to watch this. Merantau story is more dynamic (imo), and you would find Yayan Ruhiyan & Donny Alamsyah there also 😉
I've seen that one also, the funny thing is I had it on my Netflix list but ignored it for a while until I saw the Raid on Amazon then went back to that one lol.

Yes it was integrated with filipino martial arts when I was about 21i took the sets and I loved it. Ika Uwais is my favorite as well as some others from Indonesia.
