I owned the same car ,same colour not the US version. Great engine, good manual transmission. I drove it until problems with corrosion went to far. Car indication is not 300D it was 240D 3.0 for the W115 type
@@toledotom57 You are confusing the type W114/W115 with the W116, which was later released with the shield type 300D. This is about the W114/W115. Labeled 240D 3.0 on the trunk and this engine was a 5-cyl.

I owned 1 my self W115' 74 200 gasoline ..in Indonesia & its been with me for nearly 20 years already n runs well till now. Tumbs up Mercedes
