2 YEAR OLD DAILY ROUTINE | A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TWO YEAR OLD | TODDLER ROUTINE

- Ever wonder how other people go about their day with a two year old? I do! It’s sometimes nice to - not compare children - but compare routines & notes to see if there is something that we might want to add or do differently within our day.
Today you’ll see what my 2 year old gets up to in a day. Everything from meals, snacks, naps and even how I entertain him. I filmed this video across two days so you guys could see what it’s like to be at home all day and what our day looks like when we go out.

Is this actually real life? Everything is so perfect. Perfect hair, perfect make up, perfect house, perfect activities, perfect food plates… Mashallah. Just not sure how many other mums including myself could realistically keep this up everyday. Props to you for having it so together! Not trying to bring you down but more to comfort those who like me, have stumbled across this and are nowhere near this level with our kids and lives :)

I have twin boys and they are my first children. I know it’s ego but it’s so hard (almost painful) to witch these kind of videos. I have no help since day one and there’s a lot of things that my boys don’t do that they are “supposed” to do. I feel like a failure.

Hey don’t stress about every failure. If you can give a few good days at your best during the week, it’s okay to not be that every day. I work night shift and come home and stay up all day with my daughter and some days I’m so exhausted I’m just a zombie around her, and it can be so bad It makes me cry, but I’ve resolved with myself that in days I’m feeling good, if I can get some housework done and get her to play outside and do some things she likes, I’m happy. We can’t be perfect, or like anyone else, we can only try our best with our situations.
Don't feel bad , I'm a mum of twins amd we are too exhausted to be this perfect hahaha. Twin life is hard work

Hey lovely, trust me it took time. I exposed him to sensory bins from a really young age but even now, there are days where he's just not interested. Keep trying with you little one and he'll surprise you one day. xx

Wow ur son speak so fluently speak , my son still haven nw to speak in sentence, only words
Thank you! But honestly every child is different and they have different strengths; some are more developed when it comes it gross motor skills, or fine motor skills and others speech. But they will all catch up eventually so relax and enjoy watching him flourish xx
What are the materials you use for your "sensi" activities?
Hey lovely I gather bits and pieces from places like pound/value stores, Ikea & amazon 🤗 we now have a little storage box for all our arts and crafts. Hope that helps x
