Honestly, I see the comments about people saying that the conversation doesn’t flow or whatever but I actually like Jenicka’s style. It doesn’t feel scripted. I love how real it feels. It’s just like 2 besties or 2 normal human beings talking. Love it.
People can have their opinions about Elsy. There are women much older than Elsy that do t have their stuff together. Elsy is an AMAZING woman, mother, sister, and friend. I have so much respect and love for Elsy. She is giving her daughter a life she didn't have.
As a mom of 2 happily married i agree single moms deserve so much. All do, but single moms wow, i say that because my husband helps me so much and it’s still so tiring i can’t imagine doing it all alone. Y’all rock ROCK! All single moms/dads reading this you’re killing it you’re the best mommy/daddy for your babies!! Don’t ever doubt yourself! Keep going 🫶🏼

Hi Jenicka! Just a little constructive criticism, I feel like you should look at your guests more when speaking to them! You seem to look down or somewhere else but your guests! Also, maybe knowing alittle more about your guests, you seem to know nothing about them besides some parts of social media. Just maybe trying to make the conversation flow alittle better☺️❤️
If a person looks down when speaking to someone they view as more powerful, it could be a sign of submission or shyness. It can also indicate that they are nervous or hesitant about taking part in the conversation and are avoiding eye contact because of it.
OMG Elsy I'm 😭 these past two weeks I've been feeling so alone. My husband passed away 3 years ago. I had to go back to work in 4 days after his funeral, I had to keep taking care of my kids by myself after he passed. I tried to just keep the kids happy, comfort them from loosing their Father. I tried to remain strong all these years, and finally I broke down. I pretty much felt sooo alone and overwhelmed I no longer wanted to feel that. I've always been a women of faith, and am pretty embarrassed that I had those thoughts. You starting a foundation to help single mothers, and acknowledging how hard it is. That just made me feel like I connected with you. It would be great if you started that support group, in all honesty sometimes the kids do stuff and i have no one to share or get feedback from. It gets lonely for Moms that the other parent has passed or not around at all. It's quite different when you are it for your family, and when the financial struggles all come at once it hits even harder
The interviewer needs more practice. She was constantly cutting Elsy off and seemed like she had to think of questions before she asked them. I hope she’s more prepared next time

But I also would like to give some advice and let you know that you should try making more eye contact with your guest, it looks really awkward when you’re looking away or down while taking. I understand you may have social anxiety but you should definitely try to keep a little bit more eye contact & relax, I loved your episode with your sisters obviously you’re super comfortable with them so it felt like we were just part of your girl talk. No hate at all, hope you don’t take it the wrong way 🫶🏻

I was in bed one night, sleeping with my bf. I wake up cause i kept scratching my face while sleeping, guuuyysss!!! It’s was a huge roach in my face!! I screamed like there was no tomorrow!!!
