Great review Tank, I've got the XL Hide at the minute and the improvements (top zipped storage bag, front peak, storage pockets, light hook, magnetic rod holders, extra 2 windows) are all brilliant, I'm pretty certain I'll be getting the upgrade on mine as and when I need to. Thanks, Greg
Great review! But I have one question the supporting arms that go around the bivvy are enclosed in mesh as seen in your review I’ve seen other reviews where the arms are enclosed in a solid material, what version is the latest one and when did the change happen?
It looks great. What narks me though is all the hidden extras. All mounts up - and for me the cost is something I just cannot justify. I use the Trakker SLX 150 V3 which is top notch - all you need to buy is the overwrap for those coldest days. Yes, it takes 5 mins longer to set up- but it’s all in for a fraction of the price. tbh it’s a bit like buying a Mercedes or a Ford - the only real difference is the label - and of course the price. That being said - a great review.
I was very very lucky jonathan as I bought it out of my winnings from a fishing comp. I'd never of had one otherwise not in a million yrs. When it comes to overnighters I kinda rough it not worrying about the elements. I'm quite happy under a brolly, but I basically had it for free. Thanks for watching and commenting that's very kind thank you.
@@thetank1979 in honesty it’s a bit of a 1.5 rather than a fully blown 2 man ( the 150 that is). To answer your question - yes I think so - just about. Provided you are not giants and don’t have silly sized bed chairs they will do - width wise. If you dispense with the inner tent you will gain a few inches. I’ve had my lads in with me - but I put them on inflatable sleeping mats rather than a bed chair. If you dispense with bed hairs altogether it will be plenty big enough. Yes it’s big enough for an adult plus a teen!!
Just recently got my first bivvy myself and they’re the most ideal thing ever! I don’t know what i’d do without it

Thanks for commenting Greg. im looking forward to using this one, so many boxes ticked..
They still sell the standard hide and xl this is the pro version I just got the xl hide pro with front for 300 quid
I'd modify some little hatches into the 'windows' and that would make a brilliant blind cammed up ofc.
Fishing to the front rifle to the rear 👍
