That first box was definitely a great box - but that 1944-D/D was an amazing find! To find a 79-year old variety in the wild is incredible! Another great video!
A couple months ago I searched some rolls of pennies from the bank that the teller suspected were old. There were 20 - 1943 steel cents in the rolls. They were well circulated but still a nice find. Nice find there you found also!
If your bank has a customer coin sorter check the trash can most banks will have beside it. When my wife worked at a bank I’d pick her up for lunch regularly. I’d find steel cents usually at least once per week in that trash can. Also, there’d be foreign coins almost every time.

Hey Rob, l stopped by a local bank and bought 10 rolls of pennies. The 3rd roll l opened had 46 Canadian pennies in it going back to early 40"s, and the very next roll had 42 wheat pennies in it and went back to the 30"s . I was very surprised. Needless to say I went back the next day and all they had were brand new pennies.

nice saves1 I just pulled four Anna Wong mint state quarters as I get two rolls of quarter every month for laundry, and always screen before they go in the machine...
Great video as always, Rob.... I searched a box of pennies today as well and found 16 wheat cents, one of them was 1912! I couldn't believe it, and then when I finished, I watched your video and thought "what a great day for wheat cents" lol

Went back for the sister and haven't recovered since. Really great feeling scoring that many wheaties, I hope all RFTers could feel it! And a 72 DDO to boot! Keep it up brother!!

I’ve got a lot of the Blue Whitemans. They for sure won’t hold up like the Danscos. I got my Dansco Albums new from my Dad in 1974. They’re still in great shape.
Just bought what i thought was only 1000 wheat pennys for 20 dollars but i found three indian head pennys 2 from 1901 and 1 from 1903 and 8 steel pennys from 1943 are any of these good?
You could fill up so many Lincoln Cent albums by now!. I hope you have books you're adding the extras? What do you do with your copper once you have found it? Videos are just so great, that I watch way too often❤
I was thinking of dumping my nickel and dime collection. I'm going to dump them, the coins are ugly and will never be able to sell them. Instead of those 2 or 3 alblums, I would rather get some old coins like a type set in slabs. I didn't realize how many coins I saved with the quarter program and all the other modern coins. I would rather have an old coin like capped bust half for 1 alblum that's face value. I'll keep 3 sets but I kept saving coins and must have a hundred pounds of change.

Roll searching, I recently found a RB (mostly red) 1961D/Horizontal D in XF45 condition. Also, a 1918 in G4 condition.

Most Wheat pennies I've found is 57. The oldest penny out of them was 1938

I use ANACS for the keepers. Now thru December, they are grading 10 coins for $12.90 per coin. BTW, did you check the 1969-D for the "no FG" reverse?
I have a lot of 69's even alot of 69 d maybe without the fg? What are they worth? I don't hear to much about them ..
