Everything looks really great Jake! Well done indeed! The colors and craftsmanship really some together well. I'm glad to see that you're keeping some to showcase to friends or family that want to see what all the rock chips and flakes amount to. *Nice to see Marshall making himself at home too.
This is cool af and I love your channel. I'm from the UK, studying archaeology and I catalogue a ton of lithics for our national database on a volunteer basis. Our British lithics are completely different. Different styles of flaking and a ton of polished stuff too. Buuuuut there's something about North American points that are beautiful. They're BIG, have GREAT bifacial symmetry and are made out of such lovely colourful stones. I know these are replicas but you get my point lol. I really want to do my masters degree in the US one day in NA lithics/prehistoric peoples
Hi I'm new here so sorry if you already addressed this but have you ever taught any classes on flintknapping and the material culture around your crafts? Or, is it pretty self explanatory (via your videos) that the learning curve is pretty low for most newbies to learn the craft with ease?
