If this book had been published 10 years earlier, my kid self would've read it 1000 times! This is my first introduction to it and I'm going to have to get myself a copy, since I feel this is a (very) abridged version. Up to 2:04:10 now and I'm hooked!
@@prufrockrocks79 listening to it now as an adult. I'm like this was very dark for a children's book. Verging on as horrifying as adult horror books at times. Went completely over my head as a child lol It's a lot darker than Harry Potter for example.
I'm literally having to use the audio version for my 12 year old daughter as my copy has been thumbed through too many times... as have the next two in the series.. Bloody hell who'd have thought the Rodice was behind it all 😂
I read this over and over as a child. Even seeing the little book cover on the title card, here, brings back fond memories. Loved the book.

I read a book in 1969 that I would like to hear as an audio book. The book was Ophelia about a cat the turned into a woman after being murdered.
