Durban Is Weird - Best of Durban Diving 2020

A compilation of my best and rarest sightings from late 2019 up to the end of 2020. This was filmed on various reefs around Durban (ranging from 15-40m deep). Most dives were done with DUC and Umhlanga Scuba. Many of the rarer sightings were on night dives.
Durban is frequently underestimated as a dive destination. While it may not often have the visibility of Sodwana Bay or the big sightings of Aliwal Shoal, I believe it is the best spot in South Africa to see the rarest species, particularly endemic ones. It is not an easy place to dive, but if you're willing to brave the often trying conditions then it is rewarding.
This was filmed with a GoPro 7, dual Bigblue 4200 lumen lights and a Macromate attachment.
