He is very cunning and will do everything in his power to separate us from Almighty God, but that will NEVER happen. As the saying goes, "he is flogging a dead horse!!!!! It shocks me at times when I hear people say there is no hell and the devil does not exist, that is what he wants them to believe. Someone said that to St. Padre Pio one day and his reply was "You will believe it when you get there." The Holy Rosary is the Weapon against Satan, because he hates and fears it. Our Blessed Mother will ALWAYS PROTECT US. The Holy Rosary is a sign of our predestination, that is HEAVEN. God Bless you Fr. Nr. Ireland.

Thanks for this Fr. Terrance! :) I really didn't know that the serpent didn't call God, Lord. He really rejects God. I actually went through a phase where I rejected God and didn't believe that He is real, but now I do and I believe that everything the Catholic Church teaches are true. The only way I know to guard against the half truths of the devil is to know TRUTH Himself (Jesus) and God's Word (Bible) and to know the teachings that He left through the Church. Sometimes I think that I already know His teachings and about Mama Mary, it's like my cup is already full when it comes to them, maybe that's why I don't click on videos that I think will give me what I already know, but I don't think I know them fully. I have a lot to learn. Our faith is so deep and I don't know if I can learn all information in one lifetime, but I guess that's not what God wants, the only commandment is to love, not to know everything. I want to know, love and serve God, myself and others. Although I don't really like youtube now, I am grateful that I can watch videos and absorb information from people living halfway round the world. Very important teaching and greatly appreciate Fr Terrance speech today. @Franciscanfriars do we all use Hebrew interpretation that Adam was well aware and so partook knowlingly , or that he was unaware so deceived, as both these storylines often given. Please assist with understanding today, many thanks.
Dear Amanda, If Adam was truly unaware and therefore deceived, he wouldn't have been held morally responsible. Such a severe punishment by God would not have been administered because of ignorance. The interpretation which we presented in the reflection makes the most sense. God bless!

It's amazing how videos that have the word "satan" or "demonic" in the title always seem to get the most views. If you put "Jesus" or "Mary" in the title, it's as if the "boring!" button flashes & people go to sleep. It'll be different in the next life, that's for sure :) ... _Praised be Jesus & Mary!_
Well, I for one would rather look at Jesus and Mary than the devil any day! We do need the be and do as we are instructed, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Mt 10: 16 and “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5: 8
The reason - F or 50 yrs or more the teaching is all about love and we all have a reasonable doubt that we will all be in Heaven. I can not remember the last time I have heard a homely on hell, satan, or purgatory. People are hungry for truth.
Mankind is still falling for the same lie of satan: If you only disobey God, you can become like him and decide for youself what is good and what is evil. This addresses the sin of modern day man.

Do you actually believe that there was in fact at some discreet time in the past an Adam and Eve (created perfect by God) who were tempted by Satan (speaking in the form of a serpent)?
I'm 45 years old and only few times heard such things.world is blessed with priests like him.
