Reminder to anybody stocking up on yarn; Do NOT store yarn in cardboard boxes. Too many “varmits”, as my grandmother called them, loooove cardboard. Spend that little extra money and get “garment” bags and/or plastic totes.
Make sure anything you use to store your yarn can breathe a little, or else get some of those dessicant sachets to prevent mold & mildew. People would be surprised how much ambient moisture there can be in yarn.

Hi Juan! I was inspired by the same video, but in my case, it's my first attempt at a granny stitch blanket and second attempt at granny stitch in general. Earlier in my crochet journey, I tried a daisy granny square design and made about 4-5 squares before getting bored.

Yes, yarn as my retirement. My aunt and I always have said that. There will come a time when I will be on a very limited income and not be able to afford yarn..what I can afford extra now and don’t use I will have for later. I can’t afford a lot extra, so when I can get extra I just enjoy.
I think that star "blanket" would make a great tablecloth for a round table. Maybe with thinner yarn. I saw her tutorial and it remi ded me of the tablecloths that my grandma crocheted. Loving picking up crochet again, Thanks to your videos! Almost sunny here in CA!

I was intrigued by Crystal's star afghan. I would use it as an accent piece on a plain colored bedspread. I am working on her Thunderbolts and Lightening. My new choice of yarn came yesterday so I can continue. My Sophie book came.....omg it is huge. I haven't looked at it yet. I would like to be part of that group but I don't zoom (other then when on coffee) so I guess I can't be part. Could you do some tutorials that would help us who don't zoom for that blanket? I enjoyed all the things on your video. Mom is going to love that angel. 👼. I want to see her face now!!! Can't wait a week!

My dream too would be a separate place for my yarn or other crafts. If a variegated yarn I love is being discontinued, I buy at least 10. I just love variegated yarns!
