I definitely love how you sincerely and graciously appreciate the gifts that were sent to you and your mother. Awesome craftsmanship.
Reminder to anybody stocking up on yarn; Do NOT store yarn in cardboard boxes. Too many “varmits”, as my grandmother called them, loooove cardboard. Spend that little extra money and get “garment” bags and/or plastic totes.
To deter the ‘varmits’ place a dryer sheet into any your box or drawers even!
@@sunshinesuzi5324 Granny used lavender sachets that of course she had crocheted😄
Make sure anything you use to store your yarn can breathe a little, or else get some of those dessicant sachets to prevent mold & mildew. People would be surprised how much ambient moisture there can be in yarn.
Plastic see through garment containers are what I have moved to.
I like your basket idea! I will have to use discipline myself to keep below 10. Even that is pushing Hubby’s tolerance!

Juan, you are so amazing and all the things. Every time I watch you it makes my heart happy. Your mom is about 11 years older than me but I wish that I could adopt you because you so remind me of my son who tragically passed away 3 years ago due to cancer @ the age of 42. I hope that doesn’t bother you because I have to say you make me smile and I am learning so much from you. Please keep up the amazing work you do. Take care and let your mom know that I said hello.

I watched this late last night. I came back to say just how much I enjoyed your wips video. It was like spending about an hour with a friend talking "all the things". So relaxing. If it hadn't been so late, you had me wanting to grab my hook and Puzzle yarn and work another square for my blanket. I hope you do some of these videos again.
Pretty colorful makes me think of a stain glass artistic piece.

I’m going to finish a chevron afghan that I started in the early nineties. The yarn is beautiful and I’m going to finish it now. I had other responsibilities and was unable to have the time for hobbies.

I think that star "blanket" would make a great tablecloth for a round table. Maybe with thinner yarn. I saw her tutorial and it remi ded me of the tablecloths that my grandma crocheted. Loving picking up crochet again, Thanks to your videos! Almost sunny here in CA!

I felt the same about Crystal's star! Went right out and got the rest of the yarn I didn't have at home. I told myself needed to finish my 3 wips before starting. Almost done and will be stitching this by tomorrow!!! Woo hoo 😂

Juan, in this video you answered a question I have had regarding storing WIP's. Right now, as mine have accumulated, they are kept in various bags thrown in different rooms, no organization whatsoever. So I am going to use your idea of storing them in the Dollar Tree baskets that you showed. Thank you very much for this idea!
