These webflow tutorials are great if there is a build we can use to follow along. To get to the initial point where the text and bg is set up is difficult for most people who are the target audience for these tutorials. It took me an hour to get to the initial set up trying to figure out how to name the layers etc.
He says, when trigger A, move B, can someone point a video tutorial about this? I mean there is a panel, where you can chose selected element, class, etc. in what video it is explained?
Another very useful video, thanks. What caught my attention was the layout of the worlds "let's go outside". How were the words "let's go" put behind the mountain and "Outside" infront of the mountain? I initially assumed the image was a background image, but it since "Let's go" is behind the mountain there are surely more tricks applied to get this effect.
Not sure, but I believe the mountain and the background are two separate things. I think the mountain is a PNG with transparency, and the background is like a DIV with a radial gradient or so (or even another image). Then it is applied the Z index in these 4 elements, where background is -1, "LET'S GO" is 0, Mountain 1, and "OUTSIDE" 2 (or whichever other value but maintaining this order of "depth"). As I mentioned I am not sure about it, but if I was going to replicate, I was going to to this way at least!!!
why arent the interactions on scroll etc not as smooth as custom websites ? there seems to be lag and they are not smooth and bit rough on webflow , giving that template style look..be it parallax effects, animation on scroll etc.. is any any better way to make it smooth ? as in to design in AE and bring them over to webflow ? or am i missing something in webflow to get those smooth effects?
I tried this but now my pageload animation is not working. Any help? nevermind: I think it's just a bug. Working now. Also, I think this is outdated. When scrolled back, the view wont go to 0% rendering the animation incomplete. it stops at 56% when scrolled back up
Maybe you should also create a real support for troubleshooting. Animations randomly and very often going off for no reason. Your topics are full users experiencing this and no effective support on it. I am expecting from a paid a service nothing like this.

I think webflow university has the most brilliant help/tutorial videos. Equally informative, as it is, easy to digest. Big thanks.

Is there a video out there covering the layout of the actual site? Would be cool to be able to recreate something in this style!

As shakespeare so brilliantly puts it "Triggers doth affect other stuff, too." lol
Can I have a click trigger where the animation moves forward withem each click?
Why not a tutorial on how to makethat video animation?
This webflow guy is awesome, name? anybody?
McGuire Brannon
why does live preview keep turning off...?
But how do you trigger a different element? You said you can do it and then didn't explain how!!

here in this example he actually explain how does it work

tony s Maybe it’s only not smooth in the designer but once it’s published it’s smooth when you view it?
What if I have to do this in section down in the page and i want the animation to start when we reach that section ?
Try the scroll into view trigger. university.webflow.com/lesson/animate-an-element-when-it-scrolls-into-view

Try changing your Animation Boundaries options: share.getcloudapp.com/12uzw1ZE
Hope this helps :)
@@Webflow oh... ok thanks.

the view and optiuon are so different you can not use it in 2023.
Doesn't he kinda sound like Zuckerberg sometimes
no
Button triggers are far less logical. I swear these "how to" videos are really just marketing flash to get people hooked. Then... the pain begins.

Here is an article that may help explain this better: university.webflow.com/lesson/show-and-hide-elements-on-click
Hope this helps 😀
