I built some nice cajons and my neighbor came over and absolutely blew my mind how hard he ripped. He's a pro. I gave him one and thanked him for showing me how it's done. He smoked anyone I've ever heard. Topanga Canyon has lots of talented folks.

so the blocks and the screws are where you attach the snare? And the snare goes at the top? @9:20 it shows him putting the front cover on upside down.......

Apparently the snares are fitted to the bottom, otherwise the whole fixture would fall. I think it's very clear @14:20
