I remember this it happened in November 2016 at this pub called Woolshed in Dublin city centre. These idiots were refused entry cos they're drunk, so they started at the bouncer but got their asses handed to them... Lol
Nice breakdown Nick, but I believe you could also mention the bouncers proper use of hitting with the radio in hand. Whenever possible, holding either keys between fingers, or something heavier that fits in one's hand, certainly helps. I think bouncers should carry pepper spray, it can be held to add punch power and when needed, just spray the perps!
Trebor Ollidagled don't do keys between fingers. the impact pushes them back into your own hand. the best way to use a key for self defense is to hold just one with just the tip sticking out and use it like a razor/slashing weapon.

That second guy, the bigger one was so awkward with his movement it was laughable!! Kind of like slapstick comedy in a way. And the way they both limped off at the end was just brilliant too lol.
I get your point about using the door frame but I believe the club in the video had double doors so two people could go through simultaneously, hence no advantage to the doorman who chose to use the space just outside instead.

The cowards clearly wanted to draw him out into the street where they could come at him from different directions but, once again, his experience allowed him to keep his cool even after the initial sucker punches. Pretty sad to see people this affected by alcohol so early in the day, assuming that Ireland doesnt have the insanely long summer days they experience in Nordic countries.
The important thing besides using your envirement to deal with more than one attacker is to Never let them work as a team because your dead meat if you do.

I vphave pressure tested it, of course only wrestling was allowed but it worked well
