Wow, you crafted that shield? That’s insanely good. So you took a magic shield and crafted Safety, and it rolled all those nice affixes like +1 to Paladin skills? Didn’t realize crafting is this good in PD2.
Hey Monarchon, coming up to season 10, do you think holy bolt /foh pally is worthwhile to start with to farm gear, if I intend to main paladin? Or would a sorc farming arcane with lightning, for example, be a faster way to gain runes and charms to acquire the gear my pally needs?
I would personally still start hb if I wanted to main paladin. It got a damage buff for the upcoming season (not that it needed it). But you do really solid CS runs with just 5 plus skills (neophyte +3, spirit +1 and lore +1) and does not take much more to do mapping, ubers and dclone. The gap between sorc and other chars is way smaller in PD2 than in regular.
thanks. I try to avoid magic immunes as much as possible, but when I have to I just use fist of the heavens which has lightning damage or rely on my merc to kill
You have to convert the "old" 16 letter key to a "new" 26 letter key by registering it on your battlenet account on the website. Just google "how to convert 16 letter d2 key" if you need more help how.
I went energy shield nova sorc starter and i’m honestly regretting not going pally. It’s going to take me forever to get to maps. Ive been non stop farming arcane sanc
I’m getting a late start but was thinking of doing lightning/chain lightning sorc for arcane. Is it not treating you well. Maybe I’ll stick with what I know and roll something to farm chaos
Sorc is a strong starter because it farms LOD content fast and well. But progressing to maps does require a bit more gear. Especially for lightning based build. If lod content gets to stale you should consider going one of cold builds like ice barrage or maybe meteor to farm a bit harder content until u get more geared. Hope you caught a break tho since you wrote this comment
It is difficult to get the first maps in lod content for sure. But once you get into maps you should be sustaining urself pretty well. Hope you gotten some by now
Can only agree after a week of playing it. Super strong, barely need any gear to farm CS somewhat effeciently day 1. But yeah too much of the same thing always get stale. Good thing there are so many other cool options to go to in pd2 so u dont have to go the same each season
Please consider not just opening your inventory and 'mousing' (if thats the correct word) over each item for half a second. Thats really annoying, even if you can pause it

Yeah the crafting system is amazing in PD2. It feel very much worth it to do it.

Same. How good is this build for mapping?

@@refluks123 I tested it on closed beta with an endgame setup and it destroyed fortified T2s. Did not test t3 but imagine it would be fine as well.

Nice progression man, how do i craft 20 fct belt? I tot the max was 10.
10fcr from the craft always and you can roll a second fcr roll varying from i think 2-10fcr
As PWD says you can get a bonus roll on top of the FCR if lucky. And you could also slam 10 fcr on a belt
ugh i cant get maps to drop!

@@Monarchond2 drowning in them now =p
Foh pal probably one of the strongest chars to start a season. Used to be my go-to, but always going pal is also boring

Ty for the feedback. Will try and improve for future videos!
I get frustrated at this sort of thing but later on in the video he mouses over each item slowly and gave me lots of time to read
