VR is by far the most immersive gaming experience so far. I once used SteamVR to simply stand in one spot of Kelethin and was amazed at how much it felt like I was there. More recently, I played Grimlord and found myself on edge because a dungeon is freakier when it feels like you're in it, not to mention zombies feeling more intimidating when they're as tall as you and raising a weapon. Hope to see more of this! I'm a sucker for melee combat, so if there ever comes a time I can have a proper VR sword duel in Norrath, I'll be very happy. One wild thought I had was using the headset's mic to let you talk to NPCs ("hail" and dialogue keywords), and TTS for their replies. If this project becomes available to your Patrons, I'll gladly sign up.

I'm also very enthusiastic about VR and want to mention that I think you could learn a LOT about this endeavor by playing the game "Legendary Tales" through Steam. Please look it up and reach out to me if you have an questions. I'd love to get you hooked up with some ideas on how to incorporate EQ in VR.
EQ in VR would be too dangerous. People would die of heart attacks or fall out of their windows fleeing IRL when they get ambushed by a sand giant in S. Ro while mediating.
I can't find a link to your Patreon, can you post it? And you noted the choppiness is from the recording software, so when you're not using it the gameplay is smooth? I'd love to try this out with my Oculus Rift!

I really enjoy the stuff you guys made back in the day(For You I Bare Concrete Bricks and Three Treasures Lost are my favorites), and it would be great to have new songs, and also have them uploaded on platforms like Spotify or Apple Music. Thanks! :D
If you have children now, this game might make it in time for you to play with your grandchildren's kids. If it were me, I'd push VR features to after the release of the game and avoid feature creep.

I highly suggest "Legendary Tales" in PCVR (Steam) or PSVR. It's a melee combat dungeon crawler RPG.

I'm hyped about this. I'm negotiating with my wife & kids on selling their kidneys, so they can donate as well.
