Yup And just recently actually It was a apocalypse and everybody was spread around my friends and I could like double Jump and float and my friends also and I became the doctor once I saved one I must've remembers that during my dream xD and then I was about to save my last friend with my other ones heading down a street desert but with some buildings and it was sunset and then I slowly woke up and had a montage of things that happened before the apocalypse and I remember having dinner that's it from the montage and I woke up
+Ssj Gohan That sounded awesome, my friend had a Dream like that once, and he got really pissed off because he says I made him wake up because I hit him in the face with a hammer.
I dreamed some days ago about me and my friend going to a teen party. You weirdly had to pick a country, I picked Monaco (lol idk why dreams are weird), I was waiting for other friends to come but no one came, I meanwhile lost my friend and everyone was actually gone, I went in to look for people, until I found a team of 2 shooting me with weird future guns. The next part may sound fake and weird, but it was actually in my dream! There was btw some other thing before me and my friend going to the party but I can't remember that. I ran upstairs, I got a random leaf gun and tried to shoot 2 of them, 1 nearly died, 1 had full health, at that monent I realised in my dream that this was basically a Hunger Games simulator xD, I ran to a closet and hid in there, I held my breathe in so nobody could here me breathing, the 2 guys opened the closet, looked inside, but didn't see me, I kept holding in my breathe for safety, but then I realised I was dreaming and nearly passed out because I didn't breath. It would be so epic if I could finish that dream, but oh well.
Anyone had deja vu's where you're just walking down the street but suddenly you feel like you have done this before in you're dreams and than start thinking that you have the superpower to predict the future.
Anyone else ever have a brief moment while they're awake where they suddenly remember something they once dreamt years ago, and it feels like they've had that dream dozens of times before. And then when the feeling passes, you're not sure if you were remembering a dream or a real event?
My dreams tend to be cinematic, as in sometimes I don't see out of my own eyes. I see from other points, like a camera. It's weird. I can't wait until we can record dreams.
Dude, you speak my mind, I feel the exact same way, in my dreams I'm never the main sorta character, but everything plays out through my eyes, and sometimes switches perspectives
When I was younger I lost my favorite toy and I had been searching for days! One night I dreamt about myself finding it under my bed and then when I woke up I looked under and it was in the exact same place as in the dream!
Probably because your subconscious mind remembered dropping/putting it there. It didn’t end up there on it’s own after all. It’s like when you’re awake and you suddenly remember where you left something, except the epiphany happened during a dream. Quite ordinary if you think about it.
I lucid dream quite a lot, although when I try to change something, I see and feel myself sort of "drifting out of the dream", it's really weird and I can very rarely lucid dream without waking up before actually making a change.
Cakenja in dreams, when I try to run, it seems like I'm running up a steep slope as if the surface is tilting while in fact it is not. I may try to make it into a reality check, every time I run.
Sleep paralysis is no joke man that shit is scary when you cant move and you see something in the room a figure sat at bottom of your bed you cant scream all you can do is move your eyes and sometimes you hear an extremely loud noise in your head to the point you think your going to pass out. Happens to me at least once a month now I just realise what it is when I wake up in that state and just close my eyes and try fall back asleep, its more easier than trying to move and scream. Happens most when you sleep on your back, if you have never had this ever had a dream where something or someone is chasing you and you run really really slow, well imagine that but instead your paralysed in your bed and that something is in the room with you. Scariest ive had is when I woke up with the TV on and there was a figure at the right side of my face and it was holding my head down on my pillow and was whispering some jibberish of course I couldn't scream move or turn my head to see what it was I could just see it out the corner of my eyes lol actually terrified me anyway broke free of the paralysis and it ended up been my T shirt on the pillow beside me oh wow. That's the shit it does though part of the brain thinks your still asleep and brings dream like objects and things into reality so to speak
***** that's a nightmare not sleep paralysis... sounds scary tho but imagine waking up not been able to move and that scary voice been in your room that's what im talking about, not been horrible but I wish it could happen to everyone just once just to know what if feels like
Life feels like a dream to me, everything feels fake. Sometimes i'm doing something, speaking to someone etc and it feels like what i'm currently doing is what i've dreamt off before it's a really weird feeling. It trips me out
When I have a struggle or a fight in a dream, which I have often, I start using physical power and I just wake up. It's like I have to feel paralyzed and lose the fight or I'll wake up.
I've experienced sleep paralysis. While it was only once, it was quite odd and... to an extent... eerie. All that I can recollect is that I heard some screaming, or at least I thought I did, and it had reminded me of my mother. My eyes felt like there was paper placed over them and there, above my bed, I saw my mother. I had a bunk-bed, and I saw her arm dangling down toward me and her head staring back at me doing the same. I remember saying, or thinking of saying, "Mom, I'll save you." and I have no real idea as in regards to why. About a minute later I was already used to seeing her there, but that was when I felt something odd. I somehow, subconsciously knew that I was somehow hallucinating, for something had told me my parents were in the room next to me. I then decided to manipulate what ever I was experiencing and looked beside my "mother" overhead and tried to visualize something. Weary of the outcome, I then saw a silhouette of a small dogs head nodding its head side-to-side. That's... all I can remember from that night. I was very young at the time, but I feel as though I can still remember it as vividly as I witnessed. Writing about this makes me feel very paranoid and frail.
GalaxyOfReeses KIng I'm sorry but I have to ask. Was your mother alive? If not then that's creepy as fuck! That'd be fucking terrifying if I was a kid and saw/heard that! The reason I ask is because of when you said "it had reminded me of my mother" which kinda sounds like something bad happened.
I had it once, too. But I already knew what it was so I didn't freak out and it was actually quite relaxing. It felt like I was in the middle of nothing and nothing would ever happen
so i ordered this batch of t-shirts that i designed and have been worried about the design fading too fast in the wash.. I got my t-shirts today and was happy with the way they came out, and decided to wash the one shirt i was keeping for myself. the night that i washed the shirt i had a dream that the entire design basically got ruined in the wash and i was incredibly disappointed. i woke up in the morning and went to go get my laundry and suddenly remembered the dream i had. i pulled the t-shirt out of the dryer and it was in perfectly good condition and i couldent help but laugh at my disappointment i had during the dream. it's crazy how we can actually stress out in our dreams over things we think about when we are awake.
Beach Looking Guy I know what you mean. I’ve dreamed about valuable things I own being damaged or destroyed, only to wake up and be relieved. It has also worked the other way.
I know that feeling, somehow everytime i get a new phone ill spend a few nights dreaming i cracked the screen. And when i wake up and grab my phone its like im in heaven because it was just a dream
when i was in school i slept putting my head on the desk and experienced sleep paralysis,i didn't see any creature or anything but i was not able to move there r 2 ways to get out 1.move your toes as fast as u can bocs thats the only thing u can move 2.take deep breaths
That's impossible for me, I had sleep paralysis many times. Tried moving my fingers, toes any part of my body, but couldn't money at all. I legit thought I died first time that happened to me.
@@Fantasia6land ok well I can't breathe in sleep paralysis, and I almost died once because I suffocated and couldn't get out of the paralysis. The reason why I survived was because my mother came by and shook me out of it
i've had dreams that felt like movies. specifically crime and mystery which i was what i mostly watch and the moment i wake up i'm like damn, i should write a script from this. in less than 5 mins after taking a piss i'd have already forgotten half the storyline.
I experience sleep paralysis but cant experience the extreme fear that you experience. I do wake up not being able to move, but because i cant move i cant open my eyes, I guess i'm lucky to not experience the things you're able to see.
I remember once I had sleep paralysis some women told me that everything is going to be alright and then i woke up.. :D but mostly I have bad experience. Yes, nobody deserves to experience something like that. :)
+Sedija Lejiete I got that once staying in my dads house worst experience of my life and I woke up at 4 AM and asked my dad to go downstairs with me as I was to scared to go back to sleep and to scared to go downstairs alone
I know lol like sometimes (for some reason only when I'm sick) I feel like a huge thing or something is getting closer but it's invisible but it's huge and it makes a really loud noise but not really it's just like a silent loud noise lolololol idk what I'm saying I'll never be able to explain it 😂😂😂
I once realized, that I was dreaming and I tried to wake up, but the only thing I could do closest to this was convincing myself, that I was already awake. So, basically I had to wake up twice. That was the most fascinating dream related thing, that has ever happened to me.
When I was like 7 I think, I once sleepwalked out of my bed to pee, but it turned out I had been peeing down the stairs instead of in a toilet XD. And then my parents had to clean all of it. Scumbag me.
I always hate it when I have dream where I get somthing (usually a game or a console) that I REALLY want then when I'm just about to play it, I wake up. :( Has this happened to anyone else before?
Happened to me but I was actually surprised with a wrapped box that contained the exact same game in my dream(it was christmas, i didn't even know about that game).
My Grandpa died Jan 2018. I am devastated. Right afterwards, I dreamt about him a lot. At the end of one dream, I heard him say:”I love yooouuuuuuu…..” I can still hear his voice and tone now as I write this and it’s Sept 4, 2021…. The details of the dream are fuzzy but I still remember some but I definitely hear his voice consistently in these past 3yrs and it hasn’t faded. He never told me this in life. Was that’s dream? Or a visitation? Or I made it up in my mind and can’t let it go?
I've tried sleep paralysis several times. I haven't seen any creatures in my room, but I hear noises of things that aren't there. Like footsteps on a wooden floor from a person, who was never in my room, or the heavy breath of someone. The scariest thing though is the fact that your entire body is practically paralyzed, while your eyes and ears can sense it happen.
LALFAST I too had sleep paralysis several times, I never heard/seen something, but this state is still so terrifying. I always try to scream or wake my boyfriend up somehow, but I can never make a sound, so I just lay there nearly hyperventilating (which is really really bad as I have Asthma) - I always try to relax somehow, but that is near impossible. Whenever I told my friends about that, they were like "It was just a dream, calm down"...now I told them about this video, and suddenly they all felt so sorry. They just can't imagine that feeling of pure terror. The most I could do in such a state is move my right big toe...and that's not that helpful... I agree that I wish that not even my worst enemy. And the worst part for me is, that it only goes away when I fall back to sleep again, but this state just terrifies me so much that I am wide awake when it happens...
LALFAST I had sleep paralysis once in my life.Since then i haven't watched anything remotely scary (Movies) or sometimes if I saw a youtube video with the word scary I just wouldn't watch. Mine was simple. I had a nightmare about a little girl with no face following me around, then I woke up I was violently trying to move because I could only move my eyes, then I saw the girl on my wall looking at me without a face, I knew right there it was a dream and I closed my eyes and just waited for the loud breathing in my ear to stop. I knew I was dreaming because for some reason whenever I have a nightmare I end up thinking to myself, alright this is all impossible and could never happen, therefor I am dreaming, thusly I must let the thing kill me to wake up.
ha me too! I should never wake up early because if I fall again asleep I experience the dream as a very heavy thing making it more difficult to wake up.
haha me too! I should never wake up early because if I fall again asleep I experience the dream as a very heavy thing making it more difficult to wake up.
Snake35Eric That's happened to me before! I was dreaming I was in a zombie apocalypse surviving with some friends, then I told one, "Hey, I'm gonna wake up and check the time." I then did that, went back to sleep, and came back to the same dream. =P
Often I am able to reason enough in my dreams to think "I'm not sure if I'm dreaming... so it must be a dream, because when I'm awake I am always sure that I'm awake". This can lead to some awesome lucid dreams.
I sometimes have these "dreams" where I'm walking, then I trip, and startle myself awake. I also had a weird thing where I lie in bed, and I feel like I'm in water, because at those times I went to the beach or the pool earlier that day.
Sleep paralysis is the scariest thing ever. I woke up on the couch and I was just crying in my head because my brother was just watching sponge bob in front of me and i couldn't even move my lips to call him. At that moment I thought it was the end for me but i fought for my life. I was like you aint taking me yet death. Get the hell outta my house death, you can revisit when i'm 121 years old.
+Redjaeger Scarlett Wow, I thought that too. It's depressing really, especially when thinking that somewhere else my life has already played out and everyone had moved on. That motivates me want to make the best out of my life.
Vrcaa The reason you woke up smiling is because a chemical produced by the body that is known as the sleep drug. There is a more scientific name for this chemical ,but my memory is worse then a worms.
Yeah sometimes i wake up go to school than...My BFF askes me"So what where you dreaming about" And then i say "I didn't dream today" And she is like😐😑 You did dream but u can remember the dream i i was like 😲😲😲😲 WHAAAAA????
When I was about 6, I woke up in the middle of the night and went to the toilet to pee when I suddenly woke up and almost wet myself in bed. I then proceed to go to the toilet to pee when I suddenly woke again, almost wetting myself, AGAIN. DREAMING A DREAM DREAMING.
I remember as a child i fucking hated the clothing dolls, the ones with no head or arms, legs. Or the bald women ones. Seriously, i would fuck them up one by one with Batman skills, lol.
I’ve always had my eyes closed during sleep paralysis (thank goodness) but I could feel “things” physically touching me and whispering in my ear. Not so great lol. But every time was coming out of an odd/ scary dream, does that happen for anyone else?
The only time I can remember having sleep paralysis, my bedroom transformed into the van the band I worked with would drive and 2 of the band members were up front in the drivers seat while I was in the middle seat between the front and rear seat. When this happened the 2 people in the front were being rude. I can remember thinking/saying to them that something is wrong, then I remember one of them saying “if you think something’s wrong just go back to sleep then.” But they said it in a mocking/dick mind if way. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the light from my tv that was in my bedroom so I remember asking/thinking what is that, to which one of them replied “Just the traffic lights” rudely. I think I was waking up more, because I then realize I was laying completely flat and the middle seat of the van never did that. So I then asked/thought the two up front if we’re in the van why am I laying completely flat when the seat doesn’t do that. Suddenly, like in the blink of an eye this scene in the van disappeared and I was in my room again and I was able to sit up finally.
I used to dream.. a lot. To the point where I immediately knew I was dreaming and could lucid dream. I actually hated lucid dreaming and I suggest no one try it. I’d feel exhausted, as if I had never actually fallen asleep. I’d also experience nightmares and sleep paralysis. The fact that I was stuck in a dream world really scared the shit out of 7 year old me. Now I’m scared of lucid dreaming, and luckily haven’t even had/remembered a dream in many years.
Lol, idk what's up with my brain then. Every time I realize I'm dreaning, I automatically wake up. Never fails. Anybody able to explain what that occurs?
ww2 planes You get really hyper and excited to find out that it is a lucid dream, and it is too much for your subconscious to handle. You then wake up.Happens to me all the time!
ww2 planes This is also a problem I have. I never realize they are a dream, I realize right before my alarm goes off or when I realize they are a dream I wake up right away, only difference is I've had a lucid dream before.
ww2 planes i had times where i realized i was dreaming then i remeered i was watching this show where people dream jumped and in the dream i was in stuff went down i wa like DREAM JUMP and then i jumped to robots with sword hands and i said lets get it on boi and i got in an epic fight with the robots and i killed them both and then i woke up and i was all sad but it was amazing :D
I've had 3 lucid dreams in my life and I vividly remember every one of them to this day, despite the fact that the first one happened when I was 7 or 8
I've woken up from a dream a couple of times after getting stabbed through the chest with a sword, or otherwise wounded in some fight with weapons. I wake up kinda sweaty and very startled. But once I realize I am fine, it gives me this weird rush. I always thought one was supposed to wake up before they 'die' or come to harm. But sometimes I don't. There's never any pain, just the aforementioned things. So I guess you don't die in real life if you die in a dream. XD
@@planescaped once I was stabbed in a dream yet I felt it. Idk, it was weird and actually painful yet I still didn't wake up and carried on dreaming. I still remember the dream so well.
Lol I often say something like "hell naw" after preventing a nightmare cos you can tell if a dream is a nightmare or not or when I wake up for a good dream I punch my bed and say "god dammit"
I've definitely woken up from dreams speaking my response to them (as if I was watching a movie and commenting on it) or as if I'm angry of how the dream is turning out. I'm always embarrassed, even if there is no one else in the room with me when it happens.
+TreyAllDay there is no possible way it can be from random forgotten thoughts in the day. That means you would forget hours worth of stuff. Because the moment you are asleep you are dreaming. You do not remember it all. As a matter of fact you forget 90% of dreams 30 minutes after waking up. I took a class on Psychology and a whole unit was on dreams.
+Ohto Rania i dont think you can witness yourself actually die in a dream . Like moments before death you should suddenly wake up . Like a brain reflex
80% of the my dreams is a lucid dream I can control it but the weird things is the place I know the name of the place but the surroundings is diff like for example I know it's Paris but the place seems like it's not
Threat simulation theory feels kind of credible to me. I've been skydiving for 9 years, and many of my dreams (the ones I remember after waking up) are about skydives going absurdly bad. My way of handling those situations are instinctive, just as they are in reality, so I've always regarded those dreams as just that: threat simulations. As I evaluate after a close call, be it real or a dream, my instinctive reactions to threats improve, in both dreams and reality.
@@bambi732 I'm not sure what more to tell, other than going into some details on managing equipment malfunction or issues of similar magnitude. I don't even know how to talk about it to someone who (I guess) isn't into all the stuff and terminology.
Hey me too. I can usually contol myself and my actions but not my environment. And ofc I'm aware that I'm dreaming. The most recent was actually last night but in my dream I was super drunk and had difficulty walking and speaking. o.o It was definitely a bad one. :/
You're too excited. For most people lucid dreaming can be very exciting as it opened a new realm where you realized you are the God, so you are overwhelmed at what to do. I made mistake like that all the time and woke up. The key is to keep yourself calm and collected, very. Now here's the fun part, ask your dream: "Where's my dream guide?" Yes. There's a thing like that. It is a literal manifestation of your dream and I've realized twice that it will take the form you are most... affectionate over. It will guide you throughout your dream, yeah, you can ask it: "I want to fly" and most of the time it will make you. It was my girlfriend once, and my homeroom teacher the last time (Don't ask). I morphed onto animals, flew and breathe underwater. Yep, my dreams are pretty hysteric. lol.
I find that sometimes but you have to really believe you are able to do what you want to do (I imagine and convince myself that air is structured like water and I can swim through it - therefore enabling me to fly). It seems to take a lot of mental effort and I sometimes wake up out of breath and exhausted (weird, I know). It just takes practise 😊
Shnell321 Yep, that's one of the thing too. But frankly it came easy to me, after I read a whole lots of guide about lucid dreaming, I felt more confidence during them so, you know.
the first time i lucid dreamt which was the only time, When i realized it i just started flying around and I didn't even try to. But ofc I woke up after a few seconds being in the dream.
The scariest thing that's happened to me in my sleep is when I was dreaming and I felt the bottom of my bed move, as though someone was walking on it. I didn't want to open my eyes just in case I saw something I won't be able to forget. But it kept on getting closer and closer to me. So I kicked my legs and I felt a leg like object. I opened my eyes and sat up but nothing was there. This happened to me a few weeks ago and I really don't want it to happen again. It was terrifying.
no, i don't want that I had that once, when I was six years old I was sleeping and had a dream of the Uconn huskies logo coming alive and biting my dad's head. Then it bit my arm, and it felt like it was burning. I woke up and my arm felt really hot like it did in the dream.. Fifteen years later i still haven't forgotten waking up with that feeling.
As a kid I was able to determine whether I was dreaming or not, and I could decide to wake up, or continue sleeping and finish my dream. If it was a really scary dream I sometimes chose to wake up. I also remember as a kid if in my dream I went to the bathroom and I started peeing, but then I actually started peeing in real life and woke up from a warm flow of pee between my legs.. Now I hardly dream anymore :( As a kid my mind was free, not so anymore I think. That's probably the reason...
When I was a kid I knew when I was dreaming most of the times, but because of that I was ending my dream quick so I wake up(usually I was jumping out of the window).I could have made a lot of cool dreams, and I wasted so many chances back then. Now however,if I remember it's a dream,I turn it into something cool(depends what I want at that moment).
I remember I was dreaming about dancing on a dresser then relized I was dreaming and I was getting bored of being in the dream and wanted to wake up a watch cartoons so I tried to wake up and nothing happens and I was so scared and thought I would be trapped forever then I woke up on the floor of my room scared shitless
If The "Threat Simulation Theory" is real, that might be one of the reasons that dreams sometimes predict the future? Although these predictions are usually softer these days, that might be due to our luxury and privileges that have separated us from such more dangerous engagements.
I suffer from sleep paralysis often. I see men walking around in my bed room and the second they look at me I cant breath and I hear a loud noise like a train whistle. It happens to me at least once a month but its slightly different. I also see things in my sleep that always come true soon after. They are like visions. Sometimes it is small things such as I dreamed my phone screen cracked and it did the next day. I know this could be a coincidence but it happens all the time. It happened again when i dreamed i was in a minor car crash and it happened two days later. I even dreamed that my uncle was having a heart attack and i woke up to my mum calling me from the hospital telling me he was dead. I don't like being able to see these things but I'm to scared to tell people or doctors because they will think im crazy. Can anyone explain why this happens or how i can stop it?
+Jack Registeel I have had a dream where i was Levi from attack on titan killing all the titans and saving humanity , on the other hand i've seen a dream where my brother gets kidnapped , my family gets murdered and my girlfriend broke up with me and went with a friend ... I woke up crying and shocked after all 3 of these ... yey dreams :|
You didn't actually have that dream exactly you might've had a similar one but because of the way the brain remembers things it changes the memory of the dream to make it seem like its the same
So last night I was laying down and the room was completely silent and my family was asleep. Suddenly, I started hearing a noise. The tv. I get up to turn it off (it's on the sports channel) but then...Boom. The moment my head gets off the bed the sound stops. Weird. I go back to laying down. Like 20 minutes later, same thing happens, only it's like news. Now I'm creeped out. I pinch myself and realize I'm awake. Then I lay down. THEN COMES THE CREEPY PART. I lay down but this time, I hear PEOPLE WALKING INTO MY ROOM, AND TALKING IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE. I FREAK OUT AND JUMP UP. THE MOMENT I LEAVE MY BED THE SOUNDS STOP, AND THERE IS NO ONE. MY FAMILY IS ASLEEP IN THEIR RESPECTIVE BEDS. THIS HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AND HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. IM SO SCARED
Sometimes when you haven't slept much and you're tired your brain just makes things up. I had such thing three times. Once I heard my sister screaming. Like loudly. And I heard my mother jumping up from bad confused and trying to talk to her but when I jumped out of bed too because I was scared that something happened I saw my whole family sleeping silently. The other time I thought there would be a girl being raped outside the house because there was a girl screaming and telling the man to stop but after I get up and looked out the window there was no one and my mother asked me what the hell I am doing at two o'clock at night (we were in a hotel though). I googled it because who the heck won't and it might be that your brain was just too tired. It's scary.
I had a case when I woke up and I heard an anime character talking .. ? I thought it was my tablet or something so I get up and turn it off but it wasn't on. Then the next thing you know I am like 'wtf' and the next thing you know it just fades away and I don't heard anything ;-; (I watched like 7 hours of anime last night tho.)
It might be the "dream drug" being released into your mind, but you aren't fully asleep. it's like the thing with the blind people, they dream with sound, and you wouldn't be sleeping so you would be hearing things and not seeing them. So when you move, that wakes you up, maybe, I don't know, just a theory.
Whenever I get into the "I'm super sleepy but my mind is trying to stay up" I feel like I'm hallucinating and it becomes like a horror movie for me... totally normal right?
When I was around 13 I was sleepwalking. But instead of going to the bathroom in a regular toilet, I went to the bathroom in my sisters room. And then I woke up with my underwear off. Oof
I, for some reason, have lots of bad dreams, so to counteract this I now always know when I'm in a nightmare. When I have a nightmare after a few seconds of fear I realize that I'm probably dreaming. So now that I know I'm dreaming i give myself up to the killer and let him kill me, this usually ends up transitioning me into a lucid dream, or I just go into another dream.
Jacques Laine when I was like 5 I had this dream where a dog would eat me alive (no questions asked) but it kept happening over and over again so at some point it turned into lucid dreams and I stopped trying to fight it and just closed my eyes and let myself get eaten
Matthew Bennet I had a dream I was eaten by cannibals once. Also these sexy female vampires inviting me to an orgy once which you can guess how it ended.
Jacques Laine I lucid dream often, usually i have control over the dream but when i get a nightmare i usually lose control, when that happens i wake up when the dream gets too scary.
I had this for 2 years, everyday a nightmare but every night i could controll it, i would 'make' awesome things or if i was tired in my dream i would let myself get stabbed or i would open my eyes aggressively and my eyes would open for real so i would wake up, or i would hurt myself, like hit me in the face or something. But i always knew it after (in my dream) a few seconds, that i was having a nightmare. It was awesome, i was 10-12 at the time i dont remember exactly. Glad to know im not the only one :)
Most of the time in my dreams I'm really a side character who is just watching everything happen unless it's literally me and one other person. I don't see how it could be dreaming, as I literally am a spectator who pitches in occasionally.
I have sleep paralysis often. I can induce it, and I love the feeling. It's a huge adrenaline rush, and often terrifying, but it's so bizarre that my curiosity takes over, and leaves me wanting more every time.
I have a therory on why we dream! It's our bodies going through our memories but sometimes they get mixed up and that's how we see insane stuff and that's why we see common stuff but sometimes it is the predictions you know how sometimes your like I've seen this before you probably witnessed it in a dream!
Interesting fact: All of the people in your dream, even the ones you have no memory of, have been seen by your eyes before. Your brain cannot make up faces. How true this is, I'm not sure, but it makes sense, considering the amount of people in the world and how many different faces you might see in a day.
REM doesn’t occur during deep sleep, it’s quite the opposite actually. REM is a fairly paradoxical phenomenon, as EEGs have shown that when a person is in REM sleep, electrical activity in the brain closely mimics that of the wakeful brain. During REM, the brain is very active, while in deep sleep, the brain is very inactive.
I once had a dream with a long storyline then I got woken up before it was finished, for years after that I always wondered what would have happened. Then one night I actually returned to where I left off and got to finish the dream. That’s the weirdest dream story I have.
Blind dreamer here. I have some vision on one eye and that’s it. A lot of my nightmares consist of being lost, something trying to attack me. Falling, trying to hide and being pursued or hiding and being found because I didn’t pick a great hiding spot. Don’t have a whole bunch of nightmares, and neither does my total blind friend. I have had nightmares where I do become lucid. Something will be off like it being wide outside because I know I’m asleep because things like a demon or whatever can’t appear in real life and it’s funny. I’m pagan, and I have literally said to creatures trying to attack me “I’m a witch bitch. I’ve been near death and you don’t frighten me.” the usual look confused and then leave😂
dreams can sometimes tell what will happen in the future like when someone at work or school is speaking in a dream a few days later that same conversation happens -from personal experience
Same thing!!! My dad said that it happend before then dreamed about it and then it happend again but it didnt because i saw a premierof the new famaly guy season!
Mg its like de javu!!! I had dreams of several times and they always came to the future!!! My friends think im crazy and when I'm at a certain place position and direction I can remember that dream and stop what's gonna happen!!! I saved my brother from falling into a sinkhole!!! THANK YOU FURTURE VISION!!
Greninja Lets Play Maybe it's how *Deja Vu* starts. You have a dream, you forget that dream, you then see something similar o the dream and you get deja vu
sharpyshoe Those are the only dreams I have. I never dream at all during the night. If I do it's what you're talking about or nightmares. I dream rarely and when I do it's about the future and the thing I dreamed about happens the next day, but only if it is something important like someone getting hurt that I care about or a conversation that is bad.
+MJ Games no its nothing like a deja vu more like a vision. usually when this happens to me i always tell someone right away so i will know that it's not a deja vu.
+no ra what happens to me is I don't remember the dream but right when it happens I remember the dream and I know what's gunna happen for the next 10 seconds
Why do some dreams blend seamlessly into reality sometimes? For example some times you fall in a dream and at that exact time you fall from you bed and wake up.
i have dreams centralized on the topic of 15 teens having extremely powerful powers. I included myself and started a civil war plot of first season done
I still remember a dream I had when I was a kid where I was with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker scoping out a drug dealers house... I accidentally ended up shooting the drug dealers car with a revolver, can't remember what happened after that. I think I'll write a movie... Rush Hour sounds like a good totally original name do not steal. XD
Has anyone else had a dream in which you're in a dream in which you're sleeping and then you wake up from that dream yet you're still dreaming. I can't forget the dreaded drowning dream in which it feels like you're actually drowning minus the water and you end up waking up gasping for air.
I had a dream i wanted to wake up from a dream and i did but i was still in a dream. I noticed some hi tech device under the door and i ignored it so i went to my living room and then i saw a robot and it was kinda creeping me out so i woke up into another dream which was about me reading a book and i woke up into the same dream as before with the robot picking me up and trying to poison me. Then i woke up this time for real
I've been lucid dreaming quite a lot throughout what I can remember. I've also been through sleep paralysis twice so far. First when I was like 8 or 9, and the second one just yesterday. It's a scary, but very interesting feeling. I haven't seen any creatures the second time, though the first time, I saw a bronze toy robot sitting on my chest. It was there, moving it's head and ticking fast like a clock for a few seconds until it faded away. It came back whenever I blinked. Very strange.
Some people never had a lucid dream or try to get one, I feel bad for them cause I actually have them a lot without trying, it's fun because you're in charge of what's happening in you dream
I have lucid dreams a lot of times I know I'm dreaming , I can change things but I have them in a series of similar dreams. I'm in snowy evergreen for in a dark grey and blue hue just running from something scared shitless
I used to be scared of our basement when i was like 8 maybe because i thought heard noises down there in real life. Once had a dream about there coming a lot of noises from there. So i walked down the stairs to check what it was and i saw Freddys foot (FNaF) and i ran up to tell my parents and they didn't believe me. When i think back on this i think i had a lot of dreams about this, but i can't remember them clearly. Anyway i had another dream about this, but this time i got my parents to come with me. Down there we found a dog. I remember wanting to keep it, but we couldn't so we just let it free. I remember waking up crying because i was so sad we had to let it go.
Has anyone ever had a amazingly awesome dream with HUGE storyline only to then be woken up near the end so that you never find the ending?
In the dream, I didn't him in real life!

TheSupersoldier1234 Thats what supersoldiers has.
TheSupersoldier1234 that happened to me alot im like didnt this happen to me before and all of a sudden i wake up and im like WTF?
TheSupersoldier1234 i legit dream the future it has happened to me a lot.
It happened to me too! Exactly what you commented! I thought I was some kind of super-person
TheSupersoldier1234 Yes.
Anyone else ever have a brief moment while they're awake where they suddenly remember something they once dreamt years ago, and it feels like they've had that dream dozens of times before. And then when the feeling passes, you're not sure if you were remembering a dream or a real event?
yes
Its called deja vu. A glitch in the matrix😂
@@alexanderouseph Except deja vu is about the moment currently happening. Not the same feeling, although I guess a related feeling.
I love how you explained it. Yes I did.

What about the times when you're watching yourself in third person
yeah same! me and friend call it an orb, like were just floating around following ourselves as though we're in a game!
same here

When I was younger I lost my favorite toy and I had been searching for days! One night I dreamt about myself finding it under my bed and then when I woke up I looked under and it was in the exact same place as in the dream!
You didnt check under your bed? Lmao
I'm thinking of it in a much more haunting perspective
your brain knew the whole time
Probably because your subconscious mind remembered dropping/putting it there. It didn’t end up there on it’s own after all. It’s like when you’re awake and you suddenly remember where you left something, except the epiphany happened during a dream. Quite ordinary if you think about it.
Weird; I had a dream where my dad was in my living room even though he’s somewhere far off. . .
I lucid dream quite a lot, although when I try to change something, I see and feel myself sort of "drifting out of the dream", it's really weird and I can very rarely lucid dream without waking up before actually making a change.
beybaktube10 try not to get excited.
beybaktube10- same g

Me too. Has happened thrice. Once, i realised i was dreaming but i couldn't change it
Cakenja in dreams, when I try to run, it seems like I'm running up a steep slope as if the surface is tilting while in fact it is not.

That....sounds wrong....
Man, that sounds scary as hell... ç___ç
But is that some kind of pathology or anyone can experience that (in the right situation, of course)?
I hope that this doesn't happen to me.
......
It trips me out
Ramey J Yep ur not alone
Same here.
Ramey J Its called Déja vú. i think
Ramey J sounds like acid, my friend.
Always happens to me
sometimes there is a quick second where i subconsciously know im dreaming but ive never been able to lucid dream
Same
Usually that split second is enough for my body to wake me up the split second is also usually when conflict is happening in the dream
When I have a struggle or a fight in a dream, which I have often, I start using physical power and I just wake up. It's like I have to feel paralyzed and lose the fight or I'll wake up.
ive experienced a time when i know im about to wake up and im trying so hard to stay dreaming lol
I actually remembered and tried pinching myself my hand went right through me.
GalaxyOfReeses KIng thats so eerie and surreal...I can totally see that is some scare-the-shit-out-of-me horror book/movie
Shiva SarwaDe yeah. Good thing Is it gets better. I've had sleep paralysis over 50 times at this point, it's not a big deal anymore
I had a dream fear of my phone's screen breaking, than one day later it broke, twice, damn
Dream Fact #10
A few times I dreamed I acquired huge sums of money only to wake up and discover I don't have a damn thing.
I know that feeling, somehow everytime i get a new phone ill spend a few nights dreaming i cracked the screen. And when i wake up and grab my phone its like im in heaven because it was just a dream
when i was in school i slept putting my head on the desk and experienced sleep paralysis,i didn't see any creature or anything but i was not able to move
there r 2 ways to get out
1.move your toes as fast as u can bocs thats the only thing u can move
2.take deep breaths
That's impossible for me, I had sleep paralysis many times. Tried moving my fingers, toes any part of my body, but couldn't money at all. I legit thought I died first time that happened to me.
But you can't breathe in sleep paralysis. You literally suffocate to death if you can't get out
LinLin23 that’s not true 😂 anyone can breathe during sleep paralysis some people even have it for hours
@@Fantasia6land ok well I can't breathe in sleep paralysis, and I almost died once because I suffocated and couldn't get out of the paralysis. The reason why I survived was because my mother came by and shook me out of it
I had it twice...and fuk it was scary
i've had dreams that felt like movies. specifically crime and mystery which i was what i mostly watch and the moment i wake up i'm like damn, i should write a script from this. in less than 5 mins after taking a piss i'd have already forgotten half the storyline.

Sleep paralysis is the scariest crap ever and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy
I totally agree with you! Especially when you feel huge fear from something that is near to you or see things, horrible things...
I did a presentation about it in school. You can actually be born with it and experience it every night.
I hate sleeping when I'm sick because the fever dreams I get are SCARY.
I agree. One time when I have fever, my dreams are becoming disturbing and becoming really weird. :P
I've never had fever dreams...actually I have a few times...but I probably have had more than just a few, but I just don't remember them.
OMG same. They are acually so weird and you remember them so clearly
I know lol like sometimes (for some reason only when I'm sick) I feel like a huge thing or something is getting closer but it's invisible but it's huge and it makes a really loud noise but not really it's just like a silent loud noise lolololol idk what I'm saying I'll never be able to explain it 😂😂😂
Bri- Studios thats exactly what i dream since i have a fever 😊😊 pretty scary though
I once realized, that I was dreaming and I tried to wake up, but the only thing I could do closest to this was convincing myself, that I was already awake. So, basically I had to wake up twice.
That was the most fascinating dream related thing, that has ever happened to me.
Giorgi, we miss you, it's been more than three years, please wake up

Sorry let me rephrase, as you already know lucid dreaming exists. Therefore it is possible to be conscious whilst dreaming.

I always hate it when I have dream where I get somthing (usually a game or a console) that I REALLY want then when I'm just about to play it, I wake up. :( Has this happened to anyone else before?
Yep! when I dream (rarely) I'm usually eating something that we don't have and then I wake up and I'm just like "damn!"
I feel your pain man
Happened to me but I was actually surprised with a wrapped box that contained the exact same game in my dream(it was christmas, i didn't even know about that game).
Yes, I hate when that's happens
Once I had this dream where I had a dollar in my pocket. I took it out, I woke up right after and looked at my hand, it wasn't there. DAMN
My Grandpa died Jan 2018. I am devastated. Right afterwards, I dreamt about him a lot. At the end of one dream, I heard him say:”I love yooouuuuuuu…..”
I can still hear his voice and tone now as I write this and it’s Sept 4, 2021….
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
I think the heavy breathing is you I can hear it too but I know it's me who's breaking.
One time I thought I saw the weeping lady on my first day of mexico... I screamed so loudly when I was able to move that I woke up the neighbors XP
Have you ever been dreaming and when you wake, up you immediately forget what you where dreaming about??

I have lucid dreams often its weird and awesome at the same time
Often I am able to reason enough in my dreams to think "I'm not sure if I'm dreaming... so it must be a dream, because when I'm awake I am always sure that I'm awake". This can lead to some awesome lucid dreams.
I sometimes have these "dreams" where I'm walking, then I trip, and startle myself awake. I also had a weird thing where I lie in bed, and I feel like I'm in water, because at those times I went to the beach or the pool earlier that day.
Me to! Or I'll be on a boat the whole day and feel my bead rocking side to side.
Have you got a dream of falling off a building and it feels like you are but instantly wake up

I'm vegetarian, and I once had a lucid dream where I was eating sausages and I woke up with somebody's dick in my mouth.
Adam de Hombre Wtf XD
Adam de Hombre yo wtf
Adam de Hombre me too Adam
I’ve always had my eyes closed during sleep paralysis (thank goodness) but I could feel “things” physically touching me and whispering in my ear. Not so great lol. But every time was coming out of an odd/ scary dream, does that happen for anyone else?
It wants to tell you how totally gorgeous you are lol
I had same dreams it's kinda weird and scary darling.
This is what I get, the feeling is so real, like someone spooning you, sometimes the feeling of an arm around your neck in a headlock
Thx for creepy pics
ikr I'm watching this at 1am and damnnnn I kinda regret not sharing a room with my brother now 😳

Sophia Vanilla Lol, that would be how my brain would work. I would like to have a lucid dream at least once.
ww2 planes This is also a problem I have. I never realize they are a dream, I realize right before my alarm goes off or when I realize they are a dream I wake up right away, only difference is I've had a lucid dream before.
ww2 planes i had times where i realized i was dreaming then i remeered i was watching this show where people dream jumped and in the dream i was in stuff went down i wa like DREAM JUMP and then i jumped to robots with sword hands and i said lets get it on boi and i got in an epic fight with the robots and i killed them both and then i woke up and i was all sad but it was amazing :D
mjr2300 remembered*
I've had 3 lucid dreams in my life and I vividly remember every one of them to this day, despite the fact that the first one happened when I was 7 or 8
Fun fact: Sir Paul McCartney woke up with the melody of Yesterday after a dream and Let It Be is also from a dream about his mother
Correct. And I believe the original placeholder words were "scrambled eggs" before he switched the syllables to "Yesterday."
TupDigital It sure was
I remember waking up to one of those dreams when you just fall continuously, and I asked out loud: "Well did I die or nah?"
Sometimes when I wake up from a dream where I died or got hurt I’ll wake up with a high heart rate and all sweaty.
I've definitely woken up from dreams speaking my response to them (as if I was watching a movie and commenting on it) or as if I'm angry of how the dream is turning out. I'm always embarrassed, even if there is no one else in the room with me when it happens.
I've only had dream paralysis once and boy let me tell you, I can not stress it enough how scary it was.
Couldnt breath when I was in that state
***** Ikr.
When I was 6 I had sleep paralysis and my nanny was in the room I tried to shout but I couldn't I was so scared lol
Ferald Dublado Thx for sharing!
Oh, what a nightmare
the moment you had a dream with your crush, then suddenly you wake up and realise it wasnt real.
omg I would wake up depressed if that happened xD
that happened to me too i hate my life
I feel you bro!!!😂😂😂 My crush already has a partner now I get sad everytime I think of her
I'm going to kill myself now.

Dreams are used to reflect random thoughts during the day that you forgot
That isn't true.. Lol you gotta have the worst memory for that.
+TreyAllDay Can you prove it true?
+TreyAllDay there is no possible way it can be from random forgotten thoughts in the day. That means you would forget hours worth of stuff. Because the moment you are asleep you are dreaming. You do not remember it all. As a matter of fact you forget 90% of dreams 30 minutes after waking up. I took a class on Psychology and a whole unit was on dreams.
u r ryt!!
+TreyAllDay yes you do. Your most promenade dream time is REM. Which happens during most of the time you are sleeping.
We all had that dream of falling of a building and waking up right before right?
oh yes 😰😵
I've had a dream where I killed myself by jumping off a building without controlling myself.
+Ohto Rania Like multiple times.
+Ohto Rania i dont think you can witness yourself actually die in a dream . Like moments before death you should suddenly wake up . Like a brain reflex
Houssein Zhu I phraised that poorly. I saw myself die, but I wasn't the one dying. It was like I was watching it from someone elses perspective.
80% of the my dreams is a lucid dream
I can control it but the weird things is the place I know the name of the place but the surroundings is diff like for example I know it's Paris but the place seems like it's not
hi fellow army!

Please tell me more.
@@bambi732 I'm not sure what more to tell, other than going into some details on managing equipment malfunction or issues of similar magnitude. I don't even know how to talk about it to someone who (I guess) isn't into all the stuff and terminology.
That's okay. I appreciate you responding in the first place. Thank you.
im usually always aware im dreaming, but i can mostly never control my dreams. is that normal?
Shnell321
Yep, that's one of the thing too.
It was terrifying.
yea sleep paralysis is some scary shit
One time I was dreaming a wolf was biting off my leg and I woke up with my leg off the bed hurting like heck.
AnimeGurl公式 Relax, everything's gonna be ok.
I saw the weeping lady from sleep paralysis that I screamed so loud the neighbors heard me!!! X( scared to death by my own mind!
no, i don't want that I had that once, when I was six years old I was sleeping and had a dream of the Uconn huskies logo coming alive and biting my dad's head. Then it bit my arm, and it felt like it was burning. I woke up and my arm felt really hot like it did in the dream.. Fifteen years later i still haven't forgotten waking up with that feeling.

I love this video specifically for the fact that it's edited exactly how a dream feels.
Now I hardly dream anymore :(
As a kid my mind was free, not so anymore I think. That's probably the reason...
MrBasinator kinda like domics's story but he peed on the kitchen cuz he sleep walked
Same
Yeah same dude.I wake up by blinking my eyes
I started lucid dreaming when I was 7-8. I do it pretty much every night now. Good shit.
I've had sleep paralysis like two or three times, I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep...
Ive had it only 2 times
I used to have lucid dreams but i couldnt change the dream, i could only get out of it and wake up whenever i wanted to
Teach me your ways master
Sir are you sure you haven't been taking drugs?
lol i once had a dream where i thought to myself
'ugh i'm having a dream'..

If The "Threat Simulation Theory" is real, that might be one of the reasons that dreams sometimes predict the future?
Although these predictions are usually softer these days, that might be due to our luxury and privileges that have separated us from such more dangerous engagements.
That thumbnail reminded me of that one pingu episode
Muumi Pelaa good to know im not the only person
o yeah that episode xd
Christina Quigg Thanks for replying. But i still don't think I should. I think they will still not believe me. I just want it to stop.
Christina Quigg b Thanks for your advice. It helps to know I'm not crazy or the only person out there like this :)
Vacuumer100 ive had 3 of them when i was 4

That's life itself..
Does anyone else have dreams about something and like a year or month later it actually happens
De ja vu
Elijah Neal Yup. for example, i dream that i have Premium accounts on two games. and it really happen!
You didn't actually have that dream exactly you might've had a similar one but because of the way the brain remembers things it changes the memory of the dream to make it seem like its the same
byDlif took me a moment to relise but that is hilarious XD
byDlif saying the same thing?
Spooky
DrDiamondzz that's basically a short version of what I said, yeah.
Whenever I get into the "I'm super sleepy but my mind is trying to stay up" I feel like I'm hallucinating and it becomes like a horror movie for me... totally normal right?
Even me. When I am at late night parties and I want to sleep, I feel like I'm dreaming, but it doesn't feel scary.
I keep having the same night mare with this guy I randomly saw at Target
Wtf lol
lmao
He's probably your soulmate, but you're afraid to face your emotions. Don't worry, it'll all be okay, you can walk to him, accept his embrace.

I do that as we'll but I just wake up after the thing killed me
Matthew Bennet I had a dream I was eaten by cannibals once.
I have a bad habit of watching these videos before bed and crying about my bad life but I love it so much they’re great!
Most of the time in my dreams I'm really a side character who is just watching everything happen unless it's literally me and one other person. I don't see how it could be dreaming, as I literally am a spectator who pitches in occasionally.
same, it's like a 3rd person dream or something like that
Awol Oh, okay, thank you.
I dream like that as well...
Yeah, it's like watching yourself do stuff
Z_Cord For me sometimes it's watching another character do it, or yes, I'm literally a prisoner in my own body by choice.
Fact #1 You can achieve your dreams 💙
I've experienced this paralyze many times.. The first I did I thought I was dying..
Couldn't you just close your eyes to avoid seeing things?
ItzChris YT I had them closed.. I could hardly see around me but I couldn't move at all and also couldn't speak..
+Jessica Kol I feel you..
Damn, it's Enrique. 😍
+Gabriel & Leo yeah! ❤
Wow nice
I had a dream when I had a game on my phone with gurren laggan kind of game and the game looked awesome I wish it was real
I mean it had only Simon and his brother I think it was kamita or something
wrong comment
REM doesn’t occur during deep sleep, it’s quite the opposite actually.
REM is a fairly paradoxical phenomenon, as EEGs have shown that when a person is in REM sleep, electrical activity in the brain closely mimics that of the wakeful brain. During REM, the brain is very active, while in deep sleep, the brain is very inactive.
I know that with REM everybody hurts - sometime.
I’ve been near death and you don’t frighten me.” the usual look confused and then leave😂
my dog had a dream and he was running while laying down :P
+seth tuesley lol

+Daniel Daniel no it's not, because my dog has too -_-
Stewart Ashton Um maybe i dont give a shit
Daniel Daniel You clearly do
dreams can sometimes tell what will happen in the future like when someone at work or school is speaking in a dream a few days later that same conversation happens -from personal experience
idk but my dreams sometimes come true idk
Has anyone ever had a dream become true later that day or some other time? because they had happened to me at lease around 10 times8
That's happened to me before! :D
+MJ Games no its nothing like a deja vu more like a vision. usually when this happens to me i always tell someone right away so i will know that it's not a deja vu.
+no ra what happens to me is I don't remember the dream but right when it happens I remember the dream and I know what's gunna happen for the next 10 seconds
when it happens to me, I get scared because in dreams its always something horrible, then it plays back and I just get so nervous
+Hacker that happens to me a different way
Why do some dreams blend seamlessly into reality sometimes? For example some times you fall in a dream and at that exact time you fall from you bed and wake up.
i have dreams centralized on the topic of 15 teens having extremely powerful powers.
I included myself and started a civil war
plot of first season done
I still remember a dream I had when I was a kid where I was with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker scoping out a drug dealers house... I accidentally ended up shooting the drug dealers car with a revolver, can't remember what happened after that.
I think I'll write a movie... Rush Hour sounds like a good totally original name do not steal. XD
Write the script and make it into a series 🤣
Has anyone else had a dream in which you're in a dream in which you're sleeping and then you wake up from that dream yet you're still dreaming.
I can't forget the dreaded drowning dream in which it feels like you're actually drowning minus the water and you end up waking up gasping for air.
Me.
Lol I had a dream in a dream in a dream in a dream.
I really hate these dreams
Borislav Gridnev yeah they suck. ._.
Kisumisu56 Hmm I know I was laying on my back so I don't think I was in a bad position...
had a dream of being chased by a murderous vsause, literally my whole dream
Or had you?
I've been lucid dreaming quite a lot throughout what I can remember. I've also been through sleep paralysis twice so far. First when I was like 8 or 9, and the second one just yesterday. It's a scary, but very interesting feeling. I haven't seen any creatures the second time, though the first time, I saw a bronze toy robot sitting on my chest. It was there, moving it's head and ticking fast like a clock for a few seconds until it faded away. It came back whenever I blinked. Very strange.
I ONLY lucid dream and when I'm in a dream the first reaction of mine is "Oh not this shit again."
Some people never had a lucid dream or try to get one, I feel bad for them cause I actually have them a lot without trying, it's fun because you're in charge of what's happening in you dream
but after a certain point you will not able to tell the difference between real world and dream
***** Of yourse you do, a lucid dream is when you REALIZE that you can dream and thus be able to alter it.
I have lucid dreams a lot of times I know I'm dreaming , I can change things but I have them in a series of similar dreams. I'm in snowy evergreen for in a dark grey and blue hue just running from something scared shitless
My dream is black.
That's racist
This channel is extremely underrated.
