Reminds me a lot of Epistory. It's not a roguelike, but it uses the same 'type incoming words before they hit you' mechanic and, like this, is clearly a game centered around typing rather than a typing teaching tool disguised as a game.
Reminds me of The Typing of the Dead, a modification of The House of the Dead 2. You shoot zombies by typing on your keyboard. Edit: 16:55 Not everyone is going to be a fast typer, no matter how much they practice. Some are, unfortunately, born to be permanent slow typers.
There was a custom star craft 2 map where you basically did this. You would type and the bigger the word the better unit you would summon and it would run to attack the other team who was doing the same thing.
It would be really funny if you pleased this game in a different language, so it’s not about how to finish words, but how to type letters. Would you be willing to give that idea a shot?
Dude ... take this game to school and the kids will learn typing within weeks trying to break the record of the teacher
Yes
I remember playing typing games, they were all so boring. Something like this would be amazing
The first "long" typing section was from a poem by TS Eliot entitled "The Hollow Men".
Good eye!
If you do something like this again, where you have to type while playing the game, you could record and then provide commentary after done.
You mentioning that "Mavis Beacon Typing" thing finally unlocked something I had been trying to remember from my later middle school days.

Incredibly fascinating.
Does this game includes dark mode, because i made a mistake and watched this video at night and now my eyes are hurting?
It does have dark mode!
Woah
You know what? Give me this game and i think I'll love it
Okay I have to juxtapose Jerry
They Should have always made this game. Interesting game and all with Stellaris basically being done now for years.
English is a funny language. There are words that don't contain any of the standard vowels like "why" but use a consonant like a vowel.
Use your words logical conclusion
Damn cool.
i some time ago i played a flash game where you had to type words to fire arrows at incoming enemies
does it work with stenograph kit?
Unfortunately, it does not :( The way the game is made is such that it makes working with steno kit very difficult.
Second
